Description
Ding Hanbai, a young master at a centuries-old jade-carving shop, bullies the timid Ji Zhenzhu at first, not expecting that someone from Jiangnan could break down his defenses and melts his heart. Although cute, this isn't a fantastic piece of work by any means. If you're looking for something new, absolutely give it a try but keep your expectations low.
pros
- super unique setting (jade carving artists! so fun!!)
- charming main pair (tsundere seme x hothead uke)
cons
- as is fairly standard for manhua, figures are stiff as all hell. they look like ball-jointed dolls being posed and photographed
- expressions are ALSO stiff as all hell, faces are often flat and unexpressive
- inconsistent characterization. the characters' behaviour is totally unpredictable and often lacks internal logic.
