From ShoujoMagic:
Cool and gorgeous Nagisa paired with her perverted and stupid stepfather Ryunosuke makes for a hip-hop story that presents a father and daughter who cannot be honest with each other.
2 Volumes (Complete/Discontinued)

I'm actually glad that their relationship was more platonic than anything. Not only would that have been a huge middle finger right in the face of Misaki's (Nagisa's mother) memory, but the whole story would've downgraded into typical shoujo "forbidden love" cliche and took away the dynamic of the two main characters' interactions.
I do agree that the non-ending left a bad taste inside my mouth, though.
I'm kinda disappointed. I liked Ryu and Nagsia. But I think their story could have been so much better. The ending was really bad too...was it even an ending?!?
This art was better than some of the mangaka's other work, at least for me. I felt the story could have been better if the girl would have ended up with the step father to say the truth because i felt their relationship seem as more developed than that boyfriend of hers.
where is the ending? i mean what the heck happened? almost nothing got a conclusion, its not that bad and i like the art style but ending leaves a lot to be desired. read only if you have a lot of time to waste and can't find anything to do
The characters are very likable (though Ryu's a bit cheesy), and their interactions are entertaining, but even though the series covers about three years, there’s not a great sense of actual progression. Almost every chapter is the same; Nagisa is annoyed at Ryu’s stupid behavior, but then he proves his devotion for her and she relents…for a few minutes.
Perhaps that being a bit harsh, since that kind of behavioral repetition actually sounds rather human (especially for a teenager), but still, there’s a somewhat disorganized feeling on a macro level that may leave the reader feeling a bit empty at the end of the final chapter, which isn't much different from any other.
Ultimately still worth reading for its characters and humor.
It was a short and cute read. Nagisa and Ryu's relationship is so funny and there are moments that really touch your heart. Nagisa and Hanniya were so adorable together too. The only thing is that it ended with no real ending at all. Obviously it was one of those series that stopped serializing in the middle of the blue. But still, it's short so at least it doesn't drag on very long. Recommended if you don't have a lot of time.
ending isn't an ending at all and it makes me feel uneasy. I just finished reading and I'm a bit disapointed...
I'm not sure but it seems like the mother appeared in the stepfather's dream and told him to fuck her daughter because she's secretly her reincarnation or something. Then it just ends.
I enjoyed it nonetheless. Especially when the female lead got drunk and watched porn.
Its actually obvious that Ogawa-sensei created Baby Pop before Kimi wa Petto, not only in terms of the drawing but in progress of the story. There isn't much progress here and I was even dumbstruck on the last chapter... like it was a chapter that not really connected at all. Still, the humour was the same. Funny and entertaining... but that's just about it.
The heck was the point in this manga? It was like it was just there to show you a snippet into a larger story that you will never get to read. There was no ending - nothing was resolved and tbh it could hardly be called a Josei.
The art was ugly too.
Don't read it. Now I know why I chucked this on my reading list for later rather than reading it straight away, I knew what was coming wasn't gonna be quality!
