I read it twice to understand more of the characters’ relationships and the plot. I didn’t like Ryo for what he did to Natsuhiko and then on their next encounter, he simply warmed up to him like nothing happened. I hate people like that. However, when I read further, I pitied him for his childhood trauma and sacrificing himself for his friend. But, I still don’t like his drastic change from seme at the beginning to common uke. I loathe Natsuhiko‘s father for being a mastermind. While I have mixed feelings of this manga, I agree that it’s not recommended. But there are other yaoi mangas worse than this.

on the first few chapter yeah it was interesting 'til ch4 ..... i was captivated on some lines but after passing the pages on ch4 I was like a ... O__O" yeah look like that ..... Although I got a hunch a little but I ignore it and thinking telling myself it might be even good than others.... to what I read until the last pages. I couldn't even say a nice words on Ryo and to Natsu.



Not recommendable, not good either, can be called tragic but it wasn't nice either ..... OVER ALL .... this was an Disappointment ending ..... climax on the story was yeah good as revealing the old horrible story for 5 yrs that Natsu already forgot from hypnotism and so on....

This BL book I can not like it to my personal comment I do not like this kind of thing and was regrettable that I've crossed into it and read it *sigh* Guess I am going to play BL games to get out this feeling.

Is not even an in depth exploration of such a horrible occurrence. That exploration would have been a terrible subject to explore, but it could have been psychologically interesting. THIS "story," however, is just pointless.
There's absolutely NO deeper digging into the psychology of what happened except for the last couple pages where it's just spit out in a really anti-climactic closure. This story is so bare bones and provides such a cursory explanation of the subject matter that it just became really shitty.

It was a manipulative move by the author to have the audience read about something so effed up in such a summarizing way. After finishing this my first thought was, "Wait, FOR REAL? Damnit, I should have read the reviews first." So that's what I'm advising people to do before reading this manga--STOP WHILE YOU'RE AHEAD. It's just a hot mess.

It's so frustrating, I wish i hadn't read this one. Gosh, I clearly hate the main character, I mean the kid named Natsu. Seriously, he's the oblivious type or rather ignorant one. On top of that, his personality just sucks.

have you ever read sth,a story or maybe say a manga n u find urself cursing the main character for his stupidity,even if u dont stop reading,every page u turn u say some hateful words in ur mind............well,i have. this manga sucks,its so frustrating. i really hate the kid n besides when sm1 rapes u,u dont fall inlove...............u dont enjoy it on d first day cos its gonna be rather painful but the prick of a uke falls inlove with his rapist.....die...............n is totally oblivious of his surroundings. anyway,this manga is TERRIBLE. P.S, the art sucks.

It wasn't anazing but the art seemed nice. The plot line is well done and I have to comment about some of the characters.
Ryo: Yes he was sad and all but he couldn't let his guard down or else the one he loved would be hurt (so sad.....)
The dad: he's a jerk so I'm pretty glad he died.
Natsuhiko: he was sad during his dad's death cause c'mon! who wouldn't be sad their family is dead, no matter what kind of person they were. You'd have to be pretty cold hearted to not shed a single tear or feel any sadness to something like that.
All in all it wasn't a great read and could have been better. 5/10

i figured lots of people would hate it. i didn't. mind, i didn't think it was GOOD, but it was by far not the worst BL i've ever read -- and what i thought was bad was mostly the writing itself, not the plot. the plot was melodramatic and stretched at times a bit far, but i liked both ryo and natsu, and felt for them (more for ryo). #jellaaay's spoiler amuses me; what, we're applying what WE would do to a BL story now? honestly, if i did that, i couldn't read the vast majority of it because it would just make me laugh (or retch, as the case may be). when was the last time any of us behaved like the average uke when raped? do we actually know anyone who EVER behaves like that? yeah, didn't think so.

i don't find it at all strange that ryo kept up a cool front; what else is he gonna do? nor do i find his participation strange -- the other guy holds all the cards because if ryo doesn't comply, natsu is in danger. and natsu is naive, protected, never told the truth by anyone, so i don't find it much of a stretch that he doesn't figure things out. he was very young when it all started, and clearly he has lost some of the memories (i don't want to go back and check, but wasn't there talk of hypnosis?). and i am glad natsu didn't distance himself from ryo in the end, because none of it was ryo's fault. i cheered natsu on for not doing so after he found out; he didn't hesitate for one second to blame the person who really was to blame. well, one thing was ryo's fault, and i wish that hadn't happened, but that is a stupid BL trope and if i had a dollar for every time this happens i could buy microsoft. i don't find it particularly odd in the context of the story; ryo must have been so lonely and desperate (it's no excuse; just an explanation).

most of all i liked the ending, which is very unjapanese. there's no forgiveness for the evil here, no gentle treatment by the victims, no rehabilitation through that forgiveness where everyone pretends everything comes up roses -- instead evil gets its comeuppance for once. YAY.

so, i didn't hate it. but i would also not recommend it, because it has more problems than i can shake a stick at, the characterisations are way too flat, and i fully expect it'll gross most people out. if you can stomach toujou asami's love prism, you can stomach this too -- not sexually; there is no hardcore sex here; but when it comes to twistedness and cruelty that is pretty much the level we're talking about. i think this is nanase's most ... "interesting" work of the ones i've read, though i consider it a failure as such.

Yeah i totally agree with jellaaay on this one, it was horrible. The flow was bad like everybody solved things with just using sex and it didn't make sense and what about that tutor he was trying to make things right even tho he also tried to use sex in a negative way, i felt his heart was in the right place, but still was just kinda dropped off somewhere. It was just all over the place and just plain no good.

Worst story I've ever read! Please don't read it. It's devastating! If you've read Totally captivated and CRITICIZED it. Well I've got news for you, turn your stupid illogical critics here! I defended Totally Captivated because of how it progressed and the genuinity of their feelings and purely the way it was well-written.

But this story, oh god.. It was dreadful. I wanna cry. I wish I never read it. It was awful..I wouldn't say it was disgusting seeing as that wouldn't be the right word for it giving that there had been a lot of stories with such plots. But the story flow, never. This is the only one that made me feel so sorry and at the same time such dislike for ALL the characters. I'm telling you, if this author could write a story with such lame a** characters, I'm not reading ANY of her other works. It was so rushed. I really want to cry... Not because it "moved" me or it was so "tragic". I'm just plain out frustrated!!! It's like patiently peeking through a small hole then seeing a dead corpse or something. I've never read something so regrettable. I HATE IT!! I HATE THIS!!!!!!! SO MUCH. After all the yaoi I've read...never have I actually "hated" a story. And to top it all the way it ended was so unsatisfying and incomplete! Every character was horrible!! Horrible, pitiful, weak & stupid, truly and utterly STUPID.

What I'm gonna do now is read ANOTHER yaoi to take my mind off this! I'm going to erase this stupid story out of my memory!!! I hope it does cause I always remember every story I've read
