I ended up enjoying this manga much more than I thought I would. Although it was a little cheesy and some points, it made up to it by being ultimately endearing. I'm not a fan of large age gaps between a child and an adult (FMC is 13, and MMC is 28...you do the math). But I think that it ended on a very realistic note and I quite enjoyed it. Although I wish the mangaka had included a chapter showing Wakaba as an adult. It felt a little too open as it is.

I cried like a baby, oh child this manga got me like no other I loved it the story was so sad and so deep, two broken hearts finding happiness and forgetting all the bad things... well, at leats trying. owww I'm gonna cried again. （πーπ） not fair, give me back my heart!

The art bugged me a bit; the faces were nice, but the rest of the anatomy/perspective/foreshortening/etc. were kind of terrible.

Setting that aside, the story was nice. I liked the theme of two damaged people finding a bit of catharsis in one another's presence. Wakaba's friendship with Mio seemed poorly fleshed out, somehow? And I do wish there had been an extra at the end when Wakaba was an adult.

(i didnt like the one-shot in volume 1 much,coz it was ALMOST like incest,which i reaaally hate,but i was glad that in the end they didnt end up together!!)
I really liked the story, the art was great and all was really warm and touching and kinda sad too!!!~
I almost cried at the end >\\\\\< it was so good!!! I wish there would be more of it!! Wanted to see the future of those two!!!
Even the side characters were nice. Tho there was not enough "touching" or anything but it was great anyway!!!

Wakaba's relationship with her mother is quite complicated and that's what makes the story interesting.
Her mother has issues of her self, I think it's a good element for the series.
