Buttt why does she even like the prince in the first place or why does ML didn't have a previous crush or someone like FL if FL can have a crush ML can too I think soo that's what made him characterless trash for incomplete 2d development and most of all TYPICAL SIMPLESS retardness.

What’s weird is I thought some things were weirdly well done, like character motivations or nuances, etc. but other things were just so bad. And that was well most of it. The side love tragedy had me so invested that I honestly didn’t want to go back to the main pair (although, again, weird because the dynamic had so much potential and I really think they botched it…) so it was the ✨drama✨.
Ruella really should have been kept alive, honestly everyone’s stupidity is what makes the injustice infuriating.
All in all, while some rare aspects impressed me, it was definitely a waste of my time.

...I kid, but only just. This isn't NTR but it has that feel. The prince starts to recognize his feelings for the Protagonist in real life but meanwhile his best friend has been ~romancing~ her up and down in dreamland. If only this was smut.

I think this is better than a lot of the Villainess Noble Girl trope, reincarnated in book world, yadda yadda that hot stuff of late, but I can't give it 10 stars because of some flaky plotting around chapter 45. I know the bad guys had to get the Protagonist's blood to advance the plot, but really? Your BFF the prince is gonna die from dark magic and you choose to do *that* now??

Anyway, this story still has time to stick the landing so I am rating it highly.

Final verdict: One more Villainess Noble Girl story right now will give me diarrhea like a jumbo bag of sugar free Jolly Ranchers. Read some high fructose corn syrup instead. The taste may be cheap, but it's real calories and a kindness to your intestines.
