Female Main Character is the unholy spawn of Too Stupid to Live and Not Like Other Girls. Each time she says/thinks this about the Villain of the Week, instead of immediately fixing the problem, she creates even more problems for herself because she lets the drama play out.
This attitude is especially, aggravatingly stupid to have during aaaall the problems her very last bitch of a cousin Yudie(?) causes with the Imperial Family.
No. Shit. You goddamn moron. If you'd done something earlier none of them would have had to suffer or be humiliated.
Ugh, I loathe this FMC.
Also that "Damsel in Distress" tag is 100% correct. She's powerful, sure, but she somehow can never really save herself. She seems allergic to rubbing two brain cells together so, of course, her male love interest(s) can make heroic dynamic entries to save the day.
Although I should probably give her a break since she's only 13 years old.
Except now we have the VERY alarming issue of the Male Main Character being a literal pedophile. He's a 1000+ years old, ghost dude who keeps inappropriately trying to feel her up, getting into bed with her and making out with her. Hell, there's a couple scenes where it's VERY heavily hinted at that they had sex.
