The stuff.

The writing was decent only for the first few chapters or so.
Humor is shit for the most part. (Captain Jack Sparrow says: Hi)
Pacing could have been a lot better.
And translations are horrible (re-read the first translated chapters again, and holly shit, they are so much better compared to what comes later). The project has changed hands many times so it adds to the pile. Though the current translator has stepped up a notch.

It does serves to kill time, so there's that at least.

I was lead to read this as looking at the description and some of the categories it looked like a typical weak to strong classic fighting series. Since I was so,so, so horribly misled by the description. I will now be changing the vague description.

Beyond Slow story progression. Starts off really well, better than most. The plot looks great and unique with an MC who is different from most typical MC.
However as the story progresses, It makes you laugh a few times but there is no real action. Some moment really made me consider dropping it before I even found out the secret behind the vague description we were given and when the MC would get any kind of powers in the slightest....this is 35+ chapters into the story....
I am at 50+ chapters now and see no real story progression, just what seems to be slice of life fillers. The MC seems to have had a full 360 degree personality change and still cannot fight his way out of a wet paper bag. He seems to be slightly building a Harem of characters who look like his grandmother

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
One is actually a clone of his grandmother

Which is fairly uncomfortable when the chapter now are half doing nothing and half describing in detail, the exact same thing you did the last 5 chapters about his grandmother harem sneakily showing him their legs and flashes of naughty parts ....

I am holding on for this to get good. The opening chapters were amazing! I honestly thought I had struck gold, however this is average at best. It seems like the author did not want to continue his initial MC and plot so added 30 chapters of filler in to keep us busy while he thought of how to progress the story.

Jokes are good, MC still could be beat down by 2-3 of his servants, MC has yet to set people straight and is still called a retard and has a granny harem. I am invested in reading this now but if I had my time back, I would never have started.

This LN feels like I was watching a blockbuster which half way through had its budget cut. I will update this but currently at chapter 51 and am reading this out of pure stubbornness to see if the MC will ever power up

And here we are another reincarnation story but with an interesting twist
If my suspicion is correct then this well be one that I can treasured
I like MC who is cast out and is judge by society as useless
then all of a sudden he became someone amazing and slap society face!

There are quite a lot of jokes so far. Favorite is how he forces the captain of a ship to change name to Jack Sparrow. That's the kind of story this is.
Meet Weed.. eh I mean Duwei in this story and follow along on his journey.

A good tale so far

So far the translated tale is an interesting one, I won't be able to score it until more comes out. But from what I've read so far there's a lot of potential. I would recommend it, if only to make it popular enough for another group to pick it up regularly.
