The art is very, very stylistic...which is normal in this medium but it shouldn't get uglier as time goes on...right? Your proportions should be figured out by about one year in, yeah?
Like, one of the male characters literally had 4 pecs. I was so damned confused.
This is the thing I find really bizarre with webtoon style manhua, manga and mahwa, the style never improves. They either start out beautiful and get more simplistic/watered down or they keep up that gorgeous standard. However, the style almost never improves if it starts off ugly.
Someone who does the coloring might improve though but the linework itself? Nope. Not even after years.
Whereas black and white comic, manga-style art you can see not just the improvement but deliberate stylistic choices being made that often looks weird, even ugly, but works with the story.
This never happens with webtoon-style art. The art often doesn't match the tone of the story.
As for the story itself...it's okay. It's not the best but it certainly isn't the worst. The MC is only tolerable because he will go to any length to protect "his people". He's adopting more and more people as the story chugs along though.
The fight scenes can sometimes be cool but there's not really any hype moments. MC is NOT overpowered, by the way. Early on, he had to run away at one point because he could't beat someone. He got an upgrade and got better but it didn't happen during the fight itself, which would have been an ass pull.
Also, he has friends and a group of people helping him out. It took him about 25 chapters before he could be a good fighter again on Earth. He's not a one man army which is what I expect from a supposedly OP MC.
