Give this a try!! Don't expect romance, this one is to question things and make you think double about differente topics. I had zero expectations but it blow my mind! Give it a try for something fresh.

Love love love the concept of this story. It makes you personally think about your life and how you're living it. When a story can make you reflect like that, then it's a good one.
I found it weird how ...
Because of that, the ending was pretty predictable in that you could guess what happens. The MC never really went through a good character development progression in my eyes, and was just all-around detestable. His attitude was annoying and immature, but though I wouldn't understand what he went though, I think most people would not rationally do the same things he did. Oh well. Still loved the story anyway.

the MC would live in the bodies of recurring characters, i.e. the crazy murderers that he'd encountered.
To me, it seemed too convenient and almost cheap and uninteresting in that sense. Because of that, the ending was pretty predictable in that you could guess what happens. lack of diversity and gender?! He was only a woman once in the different lives, and he was only ever Korean, haha. I'm just being unreasonably picky about this though, don't mind me.

this one felt like a very long ride, even though it was quite short and i binged the whole thing in a day. so many things occurred and made me think... and i loved it.
in Death's Game, we follow Yijae Choi, an unemployed, scammed, and dumped 31-year-old man who decides to commit suicide after living as a loser for his entire life. in his suicide note, he regards Death as an insignificant thing, leading the very pissed-off Death to punish him with a game in which he must live through 13 very different (and sometimes very messed-up) lives with imminent deaths.
of course, right off the bat we know that things aren't what they seem. through the thick and thin, we see Yijae's growth as a human being with each body he inhabits. the overall journey was a satisfying one, for we as readers see through Yijae's lens just how significant, dangerous, and painful death is. it is indeed not something to be toyed with or looked down upon.
this manhwa was a phenomenal work. i thoroughly enjoyed the premise and the execution of the plot; i loved how we were connected with every single one of the characters in some way, some of whom offered very potent emotional impacts. i became attached to some of them, hated other ones - i wished for some to live and others to die.
to say i was actively engaging with the story is an understatement. i was utterly submerged.
if you like survival games and action, i highly, highly recommend this manhwa. it is very well-written

despite the slightly rushed ending, which was a little underwhelming,
and is carried out in a brutal yet compelling manner.
A very intriguing story of being less self centered and learning how to want to live.

TLDR; Amazing drama, human characters and exceptional character building
This story was amazing. The character development was sublime. The twists, especially those in between deaths were sublime. The drama at certain sections was enough to put me in tears. There are truly heart wrenching moments in this. I wish i could forget the story so i could read it afresh once more.
The crux of this entire story hinges on the characters, or rather, how the characters affect the MC and how the MC affects the world around him. The characters go through very realistic situations and subsequently have very human, very varied responses to each of these situations. These relationships, events and/or chance meetings, no matter how minute play into the larger narrative of the entire story. The author shows their mastery of character building by firstly creating a (in my opinion) mostly unlikable character and then turning them into what would resemble a likeable character.
The story deals with questions such as: what is living? what is being human? what is good and what happens (on this plane) when you die? Each of these questions is tackled, sometimes more than once, in each arc( life).
The ending however, leaves one question unanswered. This doesn't mean that the story feels lacking, far from it actually. Rather the ending hearkens back to the beginning before being abruptly cut off. Making you wonder if the story was a fever dream or if the character interactions really happened. In short, this is the kind of story that if it was continued in the form of a side story or sequel, it would be very difficult to hit the mark again.(Just like terminator 2)

This one intrigued me so much that when I read the first chapter I immediately decided that I have to find out how it's going to end so I read through the whole story in one day... and boy did it have potential. I dreamed up how this could end and how cool the story could be wrapped into itself and although the ending turns out pretty much how I thought it would be, the way it was executed was so underwhelming I could have cried. What a disappointment after such a strong start.
