Description

As regular high school students Taichi and Rin disappeared in a beam of light. When they came to, the two of them were already in a world of swords and magic. Finally getting away after experiencing an attack by monsters, following the suggestion of adventurers they headed on the path towards the guild. In the guild, the two of them found out that they possessed unbelievably powerful magic. Thus the regular high school students transformed into the strongest cheats.

Great Character Designs and Art. Everything Else....

It's not that there's nothing else there worth reading: there's major character death and good drama, there's an interesting enough world, and there's a good enough premise to start out with.

But the powers were handled terribly, especially the main character's. Everyone else's is simple enough, but the male main character's is so much more complex that in order to make use of them, the powers admit they have to break some universal rules to even teach him.

And it only gets worse from there. I believe this element corrupts the rest of the story, because the worst part of the plot always involves his powers. Either they're too strong or not strong enough, and in both cases no one can help him. He becomes functionally separate from every other character.

It's a real shame, because if this story had stuck to the basics in terms of powers and written more about the main characters exploring the world together and less about super unique powers that don't fit the story well, this would have been a gold standard for what a good isekai looks like.

As with alot of isekai protagonists they are quite braindead, being highschoolers they are extra braindead. There is no buildup or discovery ark, I thought it would redeem itself but it seems the MC just removed their prefrontal lobe instead. I did not finish reading this because it turned me off before I could.

but who knows, maybe it'll pull something interesting out before i lose patience entirely?

as long as they don't build a car i'll probably keep reading but i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. is it a spoiler that they haven't built a car yet?

Just Tropes

This manga is what you would get if you made an isekai off just tropes. The villains drive the plot with the goal of doing evil. The characters are bland and uninteresting. The most positive thing I could say is the art is average.
Overall barely a 2/5 - Go read something else

One of the worst isekai I have ever read. Characters have no reason to be in this world, powers and ability’s are generic and not really cheats, character personality of are two protagonists are… well let’s just say water is more interesting than the two MCs I highly recommend not waisting your time one this finely age rotting garbage.

Weak isekai plot

It starts off typical like a normal shounen isekai, but then becomes a weak to strong series, very much like how most normal shounen are. That actually is not a bad direction.

However, there is barely humour in this series, the light-hearted scenes are more of a bit of fanservice, and the plot is quite dark.

And to be honest, their powers are way too common among the overpowered abilities out there. There isn't much to look forward to, neither the established, development nor potential.

One redeeming feature is that the series is kind of consistent and does not keep changing, so it's still readable.
