objectively not a story that i would categorize as wholesome or cute, tbh i feel like the romance tag should be off :/, i do think the mc is annoying but even if hes annoying that isn't a excuse for this ml to be this trashy lol.

My feeling of repulsion for this ML is something else.. man got way too many red flags to pass by.

If you just want work sex and bdsm this is your tea i guess.

It's fun story, a lot of comedy, nice character dynamics. At first MC and ML was quite annoying, but will time I understood them better and thier logic. Whole story is very sex heavy, but there a logic on it.

Despite dubcon issues, this was over-the-top and comedic enough that I could enjoy it as "not that deep". For the initial 60ch or so, a solid 8 for me, but by the end it's a 5. Not really BDSM--aside from the occasional fantasies with a few panels involving bondage, their sex is just risqué (so much sex in places where realistically they would've been caught, omfg) but they don't have a dom/sub relationship... except like... in the toxic emotionally manipulative way some people delude themselves into thinking is one?

For a brief period their relationship was going well and they were on the same page. But then the comedy started to drop off and Sangtae just got more manipulative and self-absorbed. If you remove the humor from this, it's just a disturbing story about one guy's obsession driving the other to madness while literally every single aspect of his life is ruined.

At first, Sangtae seemed like he was becoming a supportive partner once he felt like his feelings were reciprocated. But we get so many scenes from present and past of Jinwoo unequivocally backing him and being a great partner, with Sangtae being really touched by that... only for him to turn around and sexually torment Jinwoo the second he feels the slightest jealousy or insecurity. 🚩 And he continues to say some heinously degrading shit to him. 🚩🚩 Worst of all, he then manipulates Jinwoo into apologizing to him after Jinwoo gets rightfully upset by it. 🚩🚩🚩

Jinwoo's narration of how he needs to try harder to "prove" his love in order to alleviate Sangtae's insecurities so he won't get emotionally/sexually/verbally abusive is just sad. And all the flashbacks make it clearly that Jinwoo was always bi and always had some degree of feelings for him but every time he tried to bridge the gap between them, it was mostly Sangtae fucking things up. So it's ridiculous that the author insists on depicting him as the pitiful one who's been one-sidedly pining the whole time. Even until the very end, with him unilaterally making decisions about their relationship without even considering Jinwoo's feelings. And somehow the onus is still entirely on Jinwoo to chase after him. Normally by the end of a yaoi manhwa I have whiplash from how much the ML did a 180 but somehow I ended this hating him more than I did at the start.

One of the best manga I have read in a long time.

I am loving this Manhwa but I can't find it online free to read all of the episodes. And I am broke so can't buy all the chapters. Anybody help me😭😭

I hated sangtae so much at the begginning but well... I wasn't convinced on the story bc Jinwoo (the protagonist) was constanly in this situations where he was shamed so much, but at the end everything ends without major bad things. i loved it.

Yes, the main characters have so many faults. Yes, the main character (Jinwoo) can be annoying. However, I would rather have this than just have these perfect characters who don’t have any faults.

Despite this being a fantasy, there were some deep and realistic themes in this story. From repressed homosexuality, homophobia, hidden feelings, etc….it felt very real. I actually found myself really connecting with these two.

I love that nothing was rushed as they don’t become a couple right away. It takes time and I love that about this story. It felt realistic. I felt that they really loved each other.

I also liked the art. You can see how much she improved towards the end.
