Description
Sagishima Takehiko, Hokuto's distant benefactor throughout his growing up with foster parents, is a successful executive. When Hokuto turns 20, he appears in his life in person and turns it upside down in order to groom Hokuto as his successor. But is that all he is, a benefactor? Hokuto wonders whether he might not have a secret reason for his kindness to a supposed stranger. But when he finally gets to ask the question he has pondered all his life, the way Sagishima responds is... surprising.

just what did I read?

1. Poor art.
2. "I'll rape you to prove that I'm not your father" - mangaka is trying to beat the record of stupidity.
3. Family, heritage/succesion, psychology... Even 12 year old girls know more about those matters.
4. Last chapter was pretty readable. Kinda comic relief after all awfulness ot this yaoi.

So I'm not your father I'll rape you to prove my point. No. Second it was way to rushed. like it didn't feel real. Also it never answered why he was the benefactor in the first place? When it seems if at least Hokuto's father was still alive.

Review of first story:
....don't get why...? i mean.. this is so complex!! damn!! did like it... too complicated and God knows they all need a psychological review! ALL of them!! they have too many daddy issues and complex on their poor little fucked up minds!!
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
who the fuck greeds his step dad with a kiss and spleeps on his bed and knows how he has sex? (DISGUSTING!! my i add!!!)

anyway...did get HOW on his right mind he could SUDDENLY! i mean TOO SUDDENLY
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
forgive and love the man who just 5 min ago didn't even stand his touch! TOO bipolar 4 me i think!
...
I won't deny that the Smex was Great.. yes i would say it.. i would swallow my pride and prace the sensey for that ridiculously god sex scenes and that her VERY much for that... Her art is GREAT! Magnificent if u wanna be more specific... but the story...welll.. not so much..i think it all resumes into one sentence..
Too many things left unsaid ...
...... It had the potential, it could've been great, but it didn't.. so sad..

Review to second story...
AWWWWWWWWWWW perfectttttttttttttt loved it!! is also a little complicated to understand, cause u only get explanations of what's going on the end! but i ADORED IT! perfect 10!!

I loved the way it started, except that
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
raping someone is a bad way to prove that they're not blood related because obviously there's genetic research (and since he's loaded he would get the vip treatment there too) and a thing called incenst exists so it doesn't really prove anything at all.

When the other characters arrived and the whole reason was explained why he wants to make him his successor, it got a bit random and I had wished for a deeper meaning than just that.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Especially since he already has 2 own kids and one adopted son and just cause he seems unable to give love to any of them, he goes and makes a random kid 21 years his junior not only his lover but his successor too? I doubt that his real family would just go and accept it like that.

What I really liked though, was the extra where you see the boys all grown up!
The sequel "Tsumetai Otoko" is also recommended if you liked this one, and if you would like to see more of Moridono and especially see Steve be a lot less annoying a lot more sexy!

A weird plot, just because of the character's behavior inconsistencies.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
"I'm not your father and I can prove it, DNA test? who needs that, I'll just rape you, duh!" o.O WTF? Oh Yaoi, this silly silly plots always surprise me. The worst thing is while being raped all that he thinks is "Oh!! yeah he isn't my father" >.> I really don't get why Sagishima is such a bastard >.< I dislike plots that leave you full of questions. Oh and the assistant that's ok with his boss raping someone x_x there's no valid reason for raping someone -_- Aaaaaaand then they just shake hands and he forgives his rapist D: I'll just pretend Sagishima had an extreme excess of testosterone and it got to his brain and that's what happened x_x Then as the story progressed he does a full 180 almost instantly x_o he becomes kind an gentle, which makes the first 2 chapters seem like it was a different character who did all those things.

If you can get over the first 2 chapters then you will enjoy the manga. The beginning just... -_- Could have done without.

Mixed Feelings

I think it was the way that i grew up that i constantly try to find love in violence and feel that it can be justified at times and this manga seems to be this way and so yes, i did like it.
Sorry for the blunt review about this, but i dont feel there is much i would say that anyone else hasn't said.

Fascinating in Part, But Disappointing in Ultimate Delivery.

Both main characters had a good foundation. Hokuto wasn't boring, whiny, and helpless (love the illustration of his indignant face as he throws coffee at Sagishima!), and Sagishima was mysterious with a understandable background.

Alas, both of their development was lacking; why did Hokuto drop his existing life? Was he even interested in becoming a businessman? Where was his foster family? His blood family? The reason for Sagishima's endearment to Hokuto as a child was weak. The entire story oscillated like that: Raise something interesting, illustrate it emotively, leave it weakly addressed. The only thing that was explained fairly decently was Sagishima's motivation to show love somehow, since he didn't know how to show it to his sons.

The art was pretty typical, but still very pretty! And of course, if you have a fetish for non-con, loss of control fantasy, there IS that. And it's done with great panache!

It Was Cute

I really liked the story I thought that it was really cute. Some people said that Sagishima making Hokuto his benefactor didn't really make sense. In the real world it doesn't make sense but it's the yaoi world so it all works out, in my opinion. I thought that they story was really cute and I liked all of the characters. We didn't get to know all of the character that well like Andy but the story in general is really cute. I recommend it everyone!!!

This yaoi captivated me in so many ways! And although it IS a bit senceless to hand off your business to a stranger, it is still sweet and adorable. I loved the manga and would give anything to fine the sequel to it.

Spoiler (highlight to view)
I'd have ranked it higher if the story hadn't fallen in such a confusing state later of the book. How comes a very successful businessman is careless enough to handle his fortune to a complete stranger, not his son? Even when that stranger finally turns out to be his lover, it is extremely risky to raise a successor at the age of 20 without any knowledge of business. I may be so harsh, but I'm studying business too and I find this series really annoying in the end. It'd be better if the Steve is the successor, at least I'd know Sagishima is in a normal state!
