This was a great story. I even went so far as to buy the Korean books on Google Play Books and I’ll still be reading them because I’m sure there’s details that were missed that are in the book.
My main issue with this story is all the loose ends at the end.
SPOILERS
This story starts out, centering on a brother and sister, who have been cursed. Then at one point the entire story shifts to be about the main couple, the sister and the future ahead of the tiger clan.
If you read at least a half way of the story, you become really invested in both a brother and the sister. They start to give small details about the brothers life, the fact that he is in college, and that he seems to be interested in volunteer work. The story then seems to shift to be completely about the sister and the future ahead of the tiger clan.
This makes it a bit confusing, because there were so many interesting parts to the story that were just left alone. They never talk about the siblings parents that seemingly abandon them for most of their life they just show up at the end, and we’re expected to just accept that, they never go into talking about the brothers life, and they never go into talking about the relationship between the current head of the Tiger clan and her son, although there are many interesting tidbits revealed (enough to get you interested in knowing), they also don’t get into at any backgrounds for the rest of the guardians . They do give some background information on the main antagonist but again it’s just enough to get you interested and then it drops off there.
So I’m really torn on this one I would say if we’re not counting the way the story ended. This is a solid 10 however, the sloppy ending brings the rating of the story down for me. There don’t appear to be any side stories projected, although if there are or will be, I think that would clean the story a lot better than where it was left.
