This story had an interesting enough plot, and the beginning was pretty good with some interesting questions but as the story progressed and came to its end... it just seemed to fall just of being anything really good or memorable.

Plot- I couldn't help feel from the first volume that the second volume should have been much more. There were secrets that turned out to be pretty shallow and not well explained and left the first half (which was pretty good) feeling pretty silly and dramatic with how easy it would to resolve the conflict. I know I'm probably not making much sense, but Midori's later reasoning’s sounded pretty lame and not really.... plausible. I just couldn't accept some of the answers to the questions and that made it pretty anticlimactic for me when I was expecting something more.

Characters- Ok, the main female is pretty amazing! Though she goes through hard time and difficulties she is always working to help others and herself, she won't just sit there and cry. It's really refreshing to see such a strong female lead!

Especially since she falls in love with the nice guy and not the jerk...or used to be jerk I guess... still Midori however was very shallow and one dimensional and even when more of his past and character are revealed he was pretty boring and dull for me and not a very compelling character. As for the romance... it was shallow, fast and just... meh. ! I'm not a fan of incest, and only read it because I saw the tag that said 'false incest' and I already knew that Midori was not really Saki's brother.

Art- All right, Midori looks a little strange form time to time. Nothing special or grand, but passable.

Other- It's just an all right story for me. Interesting plot, great female lead and yet it just doesn't meet up to its possibilities and ends up just becoming a forgettable story that I couldn't really enjoy. Too bad, it had potential. It's short, you might want to read it just for Saki, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Just boring enough to not make it exceptional but just entertaining enough to keep you from stopping. This manga is just very middling. The romance is meh and the issue of Midori an the female lead being

possibly related just isn't explored enough. It's like the female lead doesn't really care much about it except as an obstacle to keep her from Midori.

The manga basically ends once the two main characters get together. Literally right after their first kiss, there are about 5 pages of epilogue and then it's the end. So if you're looking for substance, you'll be disappointed.

It was cute, though, and a good light read.

This manga was definitely worth every minute of my time. I love everything about it! character development, romance, mystery, supernatural and lessons learned behind the story. This manga is also very different from other ones because well, the plot for one is unique, but also because the balance between romance,mystery and supernatural was so well done. I also love how Saki didn't start off as a perfect-nice-strong girl but more so, learns from the situations that occur in her life and becomes strong by experience.
It's definitely captivating and it'll blow you away
Highly recommended!

Great read! I like how the first volume was about her solving and finding the real reason as to why people lie and choose to deceive themselves. I think I liked it more in volume 1 where she was helping others, even though it may have been a bit dark. The second volume wasn't as dark but it focuses more on her own issues with her brother. I don't want to spill too much but all I can say is that the romance officially starts in volume 2. Pity though, this could've become a long series, about her helping others overcome their lies.. Still a great read, recommended. Actually, now that I think back, it wasn't that dark at all.. Sure there were traumatic events, but they didn't happen to the main character.. So her story continued without it being dark..
EDIT: I'll give a spoiler without a spoiler tag, because some people might misunderstand!!: IT IS NOT INCEST. THERE YOU GO. WHOEVER PUT THAT TAG IS AN IDIOT. -.-"

I really enjoy reading this manga. Its plot is both unique and heartending. What I like most is that the main girl is strong and knows what to do, unlike other shoujo heroines just cry for help. The main guy seems pretty mysterious until now [chapter 8] and I'm looking forward to seeing those myteries unveiled.
Trust me, read it and you definitely won't regret .

They emphasize on the 'value' of lies, rather than the lies itself, so that's one good thing. Nothing special for the FMC, more importantly she's not someone to dislike, so it's a plus? especially among the shoujo world. It tells a story, and they brings with you a lesson too, so I think it's good enough to recommend others to read.

So yeah, give it a shot. 🙂

Great premise, weak romance

Firstly, the premise of this series is its greatest strength. I sincerely believe this could have been a 10/10 story if they changed the genre because the story is great overall, but the romance between the main couple felt forced and was honestly the weakest aspect of it.

Pros: Saki is a great heroine who is a breath of fresh air. She is mentally strong, smart and does not fall into any stereotype. Her powers are interesting and how she uses them to understand and help other characters is really well done. I thought the author did an excellent job with the extended cast as well. They are all imperfect, nuanced beings who feel like real people with real struggles. I especially love Kou and his mom who are both imperfect but endearing in how they care for each other.

Cons: the male lead was extremely bland and one dimensional. In contrast to the rest of the cast, he really dragged down my rating. Also, our main couple's reason for falling in love with each other was strange, siblings or not. I felt like they would have been much better as platonic siblings, even if Saki didn't end up with anyone in the end. Overall, despite a few critiques, I really liked the story and would recommend it.

I missed the tag

I missed the false incest tag on this, I got about half way through - and that first half was great - and then expanded the tags to confirm my suspicions (and read some more comments) - and then spent the latter half kinda creeped out

I mean it's not like I haven't read Oh we aren't really blood related siblings now we can freely love each other!! before, but something about this one just weirded me out a lot. To the point where I may have actually said eugh... at my screen during the last few pages o,O

I think its because Midori is basically presented as perfect from the start... everything about his love for Saki made me uncomfortable. I don't think the author meant to present it as strange, I think we're suppose to thing it's sweet and cute or something but I was mostly bothered. Maybe I'm getting too old for this sort of shoujo, I over think it and turn innocent things creepy things?

I just finish reading this. In a couple of hours, i finish reading the whole thing. It's a short manga, but i cried in the last few minutes. The story was predictable from the beginning till chapter 10, but the last two chapters was not how i foresee how it will end. I actually felt like I was watching a k-drama, very emotional. It ended nicely, short and sweet, i liked how everything turned out for Suki, Midori and Kou.

I really enjoyed this. Actually, I had no idea what was going to happen and was worried that this would be a cheap "Oh noes, I gots superspowers and I mus learn hows to use dem" kind of story. Yet, it turned out it was more focused on showing that although people lie, they don't do it out of maliciousness or evil intent.

Really, the first two volumes weren't that great. The art was a tad bit bad. Dont worry it got better. Anyways, the characters were what made it really good. You could see from the beginning that Midori really did love Saki and that he wanted to protect her. You could also see Saki's blooming feelings. I thought it was nice that she was such a great catalyst, she got pretty much everyone she talked to change. The ending was my favorite. (I love happily ever after endings...Sometimes) Chibi Kou was adorable too.
