“Otona Keikenchi” has an attractive design in Seiji, but any goodwill created by that simply bleeds for the character interactions and general plot. It’s highly mediocre, and slightly annoying. The main pairing is effectively the butting of heads between a wimp and an autist. It starts and ends with one sided social domination. It lacks any nuance/“soft touch” which leaves every part of the story thirsty for character and dimension that extends outside of it simply being a vector for the sexual acts between the MCs. The final nail in the coffin is that the sexual scenarios don’t even end up being that engaging. This story doesn’t titillate physically or emotionally. Avoid.

Roaku and OmNom have already explained in minute detail what is wrong with this manga, so I don't feel the need to write a lengthy review myself. Though writing another rant will definitely help me cool down.

Ok, so this manga is one of the first BL manga i've read, and also one of my favorite. The first time i read it, i blushed and fangirl at every page (haha, lol)..but then, after a year, i decided to read it again, i felt that it lacked something. I dont know, maybe i want it to be a looong series like hidoku shinaide (with lots of *those scenes) But anyway, it's still one of my fave.

I thought the stories were cute. Although, there were a few times I wanted to slap the semes and knock the ukes in the head to get them to realize. But overall pretty good.

Sorry but to all the readers who find this manga likeable, you need help, seriously. Sometimes I could tolerate silly stories but the ones here are absolutely horrible, they make no sense whatsoever on a whole different level. And yet the characters somehow manage to be even worse in terms of personality and development; they're straight up annoying and all make me want to punch someone in the face. I get that this is BL and being realistic is not what it usually stands for, but could authors for once not produce douche bags as 'romantic lovers' who in reality are just violent sleazy a*holes that force their ways through whatever to get what they need no matter the method? This problem is even more serious in this manga because the setting's supposed to be cute fluffy school life romance, while what we actually get are manipulative nonsensical relationships with no chemistry between the characters whatsoever. Where did all the love come from?

In short, definitely one of the worst things I've read recently.

Sort of strange, sort of cute, and pretty fun to read. I liked all the characters, including the friends. And I adored that one of them was taller.

However, I felt like it was a bit short, and that most things were barely addressed at all. It could have been even more fun if there had been more time, I think.

I have a list of yaoi mangas I had to read and like the first five of them were so bad... I was about to give up before reading this one. However, SURPRISE. This one actually had a story (plot). It was an amazing experience reading this. Normally, I hate it when the story changes in between characters like the first story was about Yumeji and Seiji. Then, the second story was about Yumeji's friend Maru and Mu.

However, it worked. It really, really worked and it continues to change between characters, unlike where after writing two chapters on the initial characters and concluding with the side characters. I really love the concept of the younger guy (Seiji) being the seme and Yumeji (the older guy) being the uke. It's something I have yet to come across in a lot of the BL mangas I have read so far. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend this manga to BL fans. I really enjoyed it and the artwork was beautiful. I love Seiji and Yumeji's design. Maru was pretty cute too.

Finally, a yaoi manga that isn't just softcore porn or rushed into. It was captivating... enough for me. This was definitely worth my time. I hope you all feel the same way too =D

I liked the first story. It was funny but it was also plain. It didn't make my heart flutter yet I keep on reading because of the great art.

The second story... I'm not really a fan of stories where the guy/girl is a total slut. But the second story was kind of heart-warming where he/she would change his/her slutty ways for his/her one true love (or maybe you're just too hormonal to think it's love). I just really hate sloppy seconds (or even sloppy years!) I mean, how would you feel if the guy you like kisses someone and then kisses you? It would take 10 years for me to even kiss him again! Okay, just kidding. I just don't feel any love in this.

for some reason I've been on a shorter seme kick recently! maybe it's that they almost have to be more manly to make up for their lack of height? lol, who knows, but this fulfills my needs. =)

This felt like it should've finished after one chapter (with it getting resolved ofcoure) because the entire thing felt like drama created from nothing, not even a legitimate misunderstanding, and danced about with the same plot, or there abouts.

Even so, I liked it. It felt new, even though it clearly wasn't, and slightly enjoyable. If only the second seme wasn't there...
