Mediocre story, usual bullshit. MC is OP but is too nice to really stand up for himself. Typical ungrateful side characters who treat MC like shit even after he saves them. One massive C*NT of a woman who is so bigoted about the MC solely from hearing rumours decides it is her personal mission to make the MC's life miserable despite him saving her own parents from death and doing other good deeds when he doesn't need to.
Like holy shit this manga just makes me mad. Dropping it.
This is a weird one, even now I'm not sure if I liked it so far or not.
What interests me of isekai is how a person would act in a completely new world, if I don't remember incorrectly it was Isaac Asimov that said that good science fiction is in some way an exploration into human nature, those were not his word thou (but I can't find the phrase). I think it's the same for fiction too (and thus fantasy), so it doesn't necessarily has to be about heroes, fights or action as long as it's interesting, this one has so far been pretty inconsistent, but that inconsistency comes from a guy who's a bundle of contradictions, has no clear view of what he wants and on top of that is thrown to a world that operates by other rules. Those who think that because you are a grown up you are rid of insecurities are for the most part either kids or idiots, only a few people live without insecurities.
So, I have to see where this goes from here because what's happened thus far has all been pretty much character development and thus a sort of prologue, like "road to becoming a decent merchant", it took 20 chapters and had it's annoying moments and a weird pace but as long as the story goes somewhere from here on it's ok. Problem is it doesn't seem like the author knows were to go next either.
In any case, pace issues and a story lacking direction till this point are undeniable in my view and there are also many inconsistencies in the story, like why doesn't the Goddess do anything if she's worried and others that would be spoilers. The attraction her I think is the more mature approach to an isekai for those looking that, the author pays more attention to dialogues and char development than to fights and drama so far.
By the way, the above description is completely insufficient, MC not only has internet, he can buy whatever he wants in an online shop, his laptop and cellphone became magical tools, he has a navigation VR with AI, get's the goddess blessing (2) and is thus immunity to almost all status effects, understands the language, has an item-box, has super-strength, can use magic and his MP is infinite and is literally invincible (I think this one is a translation error, he's immortal, he might be digested and not die, continue living as poop haha).
Really, not something you see everyday and definitely not for those seeking another action isekai story.
