Description

Kojiro Suzuki (Protector: Ifrid) belongs to the Discipline Monitoring Committee of a high school for kids who have a stronger than normal "Divine Protection." He works hard every day to clear all sorts of trouble. On top of that, he's constantly pursued by the stunningly beautiful D.M.C. Chairman Lauri Asagiri (Protector: Leviathan)...! This is a "metamorphosis love battle" between a super beautiful and feminine top and a stone-faced, handsome bottom with a dark past, unfolding in a fantasy-style high school.

Let me explain! Divine Protection is a power all humans possess since birth. There are various kinds of protection, based on the original protector and their powers: angels, demons, holy beasts, demon beasts, spirits, and so on. Oh my God. I can't even rememner the last time I read something so adorable, I legit thought I would die from the sheer cuteness of it all. I fell heels over head for the main couple in about five pages, both the world building and art were fantastic and even the tertiary characters were interesting. I only wish it was longer! WHY CAN'T ALL MANGA BE LIKE THIS.

neko-sensei is one of favorites mangakas... and from the bottom of my heart I really love her.
the art style is beautiful and the plot interesting.

the story was really unusual and I love it was so freaking funny.
Okay I love the main couple they're so freaking cute BUT I wanted an spinoff about those guys who were always fighting. (the council president and the captain) the megane was so hot.

In the yaoi mangaverse there really isn't that much diversity in terms of character types (the settings are diverse). Your characters are either salary man, yakuza, reporters, flower shop owners, mangaka or novelist, models, or high school students/teachers. That's pretty much it. And they all go with the tried and tested love formulas. There are of course exceptions, and there are extremely great manga which use these tried and test tropes but give them new meanings and significance. Also, even within these types there is great diversity and excellent work, after all a completely new setting divorced from reality is just plain weird unless great time and effort has been invested in building the mangaverse.
So, while this is most definitely not my type at all, though the art is good, I do believe that this type of diversity is nice to see.

Very intriguing setting

BL stories aren't usually well known for their unique plots or impressive world-building, so this manga is a real surprise in terms of creativity in the setting. I could totally see at least a couple of possible sequels/spin-offs in the making just from the premise and characters alone. In fact, I've grown to be even more interested in the side characters than in the main ones, so definitely hoping to see more of them. Overall a cute read (with even cuter art) to pass time. The mangaka is really growing on me little by little.

This manga was very well experimented and I love the characters!!! The only flaw is that it needs to be longer!!!! There were so many interesting people I wanted to know more about and their powers. I also really, really, really need a hot sex scene from the mains. Other than that, this manga have a lot of potential to be an awesome read. I recommend it.
