People that say it's a worse version of dungeon meshi don't know much, clearly. Characters are distinct and a focus of the manga, each has distinct motivations, art is beautiful, no dumb humor but still a light read. Has a very clear defined identity, but it took time for the characters to developed organically, which is why the interactions don't seem forced. I enjoyed it a lot.

Daily life and action too, nice art, good characters. No useless gag unlike dungeon meshi.
If you prefer less action you can go for Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi, really good too.

I would've probably enjoyed it a lot more if I hadn't read dungeon meshi before. For me, this manga felt like a cheaper version of it. The one thing that's better here is the art but the weak narratives, dull characters and lack of tensions doesn't hold up to it sadly. The extremely one dimensional protagonist doesn't help either. You may love the dragon huntings at first until you realize that there's barely any strategy involved in and no one is actually dying or getting badly injured while taking down these massive pseudo celestial beings. If the manga is tagged as "seinen" then I would assume author is supposed to take it seriously.

After reading through it till the latest chapter, I'm fairly convinced that this manga doesn't really know what it actually wants to be. This lack of identity made it a pretty forgettable experience.

The anime is a Slice-of-Life of the lives of a crew of dragon hunters. The art work is very good. The story is fairly mezzmerizing, too. Made me wish for A_LOT_MORE of it!

If the manga is even half as good, then it's worth 10!

Pretty nice! It's like a Moby Dick in manga form, but in SF setting rather than fantasy as the name might suggest.

I dont know about later on but these first 6 chapters are enough to recommend to anyone~
