From Storm in Heaven:
Haru possesses the ability to see spirits and otherworldly beings. He's found a place where he's accepted, abilities and all, until a promise from the past comes back and threatens it all...
Oneshot (Complete)

this short story was good, wish i could find out what happens next with the two guys. There are no steamy scenes but there is a really good story line. Very good for being so short, I actually got attached to the characters somewhat, which is rare in oneshots. I recommend this to anyone who likes supernatural stories.
Is this Miyamoto Kano's debut shoujo work? If so, she did a very nice job with it. 🙂 Despite being so short, the plot had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through: what exactly was going on with Eiji? Would Haru be able to figure it out in time? Just when I thought I might know what had actually happened in the past, some new piece of evidence was revealed that made me change my mind, culminating in a rather exciting conclusion. Although all of this could've been fleshed out more, it was handled quite well given the page limitations of a oneshot. Furthermore, I liked the characters enough that I didn't mind at all that it wasn't one of sensei's usual BL stories (in fact, I preferred the lack of romance), and I would definitely be willing to read more with them, should she decide to turn this into a series or write more standalone oneshots featuring these characters and their investigations into the supernatural. If you like stories featuring the supernatural, you'll definitely enjoy "Elemental." 🙂
