Description

This is about Chihiro, a teenager who has only gone to an all-girls school and has no experience with boys whatsoever. One day, a boy that she sees at the train station every day asks her out and thus she begins her first relationship. This manga portrays the up and downs of first love with a good dose of humor.

Nominated to Kodansha Manga Award in 2005 and Shogakukan Manga Award in 2006.

I LOVE it... (especially ibushi who calls everyone shitty)
I thought it is just a typical shoujo with female lead always blushing till it gets soooo boring. Yeah I was right with the blushing part. Even the male lead keeps on blushing every minute (wonder what's wrong with their blood circulation).
Honestly the plot is very simple but I just don't understand why it works for me. I always hate love at fist sight stories coz it's stupid. But but but, I still love it! The male lead is not like the typical shoujo male that is sooooo cold and dominating. Hhhhmmmm Hashhi is just normal yet sooooo lovable 😀 ....

But IBuSHi....you should watch out for ibushi.... You might think ibushi isn't in the first few chapters. But he is in it! But I won't tell which page not to spoil the fun 😛 ... You will be told at first that ibushi is the Most Annoying guy in the manga...but I warn you! You will love him sooo much that you won't be bothered when he keeps on saying Shitty! (coz he love the only shitty in his life -spoiler)

Though it is soooo obvious who would end up with chihiro, and the plot is just so simple, I am still gonna give it 10/10 ( I'm very picky with shoujo//some shoujo piss me) .

i really enjoyed how acutely the mangaka depicted the feelings of the newly made couple to begin with. but the story has gradually broadened. now i'm wondering if the cliched third party will make the heroine fall in love with him? it looks possible. and that would be sad because the scenario's overdone.

I just love this couple. It is shoujo manga wherever you look at it. This is the trueshoujo. 😀
Hey, I love it. Seriously. This couple isn't stupid annoying couple. They are so cute together. Even though the manga-ka used too much slow-motion expression, it's good.

I love the side character too! The heroine and hero "blonde/white" hair girl/dude. They are so funny togerther. Ibushi <-- "Blonde/white" hair dude is soo funny and I want to know more about him. Why he always called Chiro by "shitty"?? Haha. He's soo hilarious.

Not to mention about Chaa-chan, very good friend and funny. Well, she suit with that Ibushi guy 😛

I love the storyline, plot.. and even the "shoujo manga style" with big-big eyes and everything 😀

I highly recommend to those that never go through the journey of love. Of wait, I'm one of those people -__-;;

it's a really cute series- i just wish that i got to see them grow up at the end.. and the slightly pervy side of me would have liked to see.. more. XD

but it was entirely adorable. both the male and female cast were so squishy.. mm.

It's cute. The characters are lovable. Chihiro's and Hashimoto's relationship is innocent, which is refreshing. They're both inexperienced, but they know they love each other.

I just dislike Chihiro's cliche character...She's been with Hashimoto for a good considerate amount of time, there's no need to blush with every sentence she or he makes. Plus, she needs to work on her denseness...

Overall, if you get past my critique, it's quite a nice girl meets boy story.

This is really cute. Chihiro is cute and clumsy and that's what makes her really charming. Hashimoto-kun looks really cool and sweet. But like what others said the blushing (too much!) is kinda I don't know, getting over the top sometimes? And the translation is weird too, sometimes I feel like its off and feel left out (but who cares! It still got scanlated, thanks to the group who did it!).

I find the simplicity in this manga so cute. It's plot develops in an accurate and natural manner which draws me in more and more into the story, and the growth of the characters doesn't go faster than the plot.
At the end of each chapter, I'm disappointed that there's no more. >3>
Lets not forget about the art which is cute, and well portrays the emotions of the innocent pair. <3
I guess, its not realistic enough but that's the magic of the manga. =3

Every chapter I read makes me go "awww..." It's just so nice and sweet. Once in a while, the combination of both characters' shyness can be frustrating but mostly it's cute. I love Toumori-sensei's art SO much, too. It's gorgeous!

The one downside is that the translation is pretty confusing at times. So I sort of feel like I don't really know what's going on as I read. (that sounds a little rude—I should say, I am really really thankful that a group decided to scanlate it, or else I wouldn't be able to read it at all!) I'd love to see this licensed so I could read it in book-form 😀

It's a cute manga with the awkward romance... Kinda refreshing reading something so naive and simple--first love and first relationship.
Got a little bit annoying sometimes with all the blushing.
an ok illustration.
