Description

It’s Christmas Eve, and Doyoung’s made a reservation at a luxurious hotel in the hopes of spending a romantic day with his crush, Hyunjin. But nothing seems to be going according to plan. They lose cell service, miss their reservation, and drive through a terrible rainstorm only to arrive at a haunted-looking hotel. When Doyoung asks for a refund, the imposing concierge insists he must participate in a game—a game that quickly turns Christmas into a nightmare.

Not what I thought it was gonna be about but really good!

I read this because I liked the kind of psychological horror vibe it had, but this story was so much more than that!

The beginning really had me guessing as to who the fake vs real ones were. I liked the initial kind of whodunnit scenario that was played out, and thought it nicely delved into the characters' fear of being mistake as a fake while they each truly believed they were the real one.
However, as the story progressed I, like Doyoung, began to come to the conclusion that each of the Hyunjins were real and were simply different aspects of his personality. A somewhat horrifying realization when taking into account all of the characters that had already been lost. But also a thoroughly bittersweet and emotional relatable realization, as I think everyone can relate to having parts of themselves that they wish they could change or erase. The story not only portrays these thoughts and feelings we have toward different aspects of ourselves, but also shows how they play into our relationships with others. How positive or negative, all aspects of a person's personality are a necessary part of the whole that makes up an individual. And that part of loving someone and being in an authentic relationship with them means that they must be willing to accept that each of these aspects are a part of the person they love. That one cannot only take the good parts of a person but must accept that each and everyone of us is flawed and can at times be selfish or cowardly or scared.

Honestly, I just thought it was such a wonderful portrayal of the multifacetedness of people as individuals. And I was so happy at the end when Doyoung saw all of the parts of Hyunjins, including the ones that I feared may have been erased.

Just a really good message and interesting story that I did not initially expect from reading the short summary. Definitely recommend checking it out!

I was neutral about this till Mr rose grab both Kang and purple hair guy and said to Kang : "I am simply here to help you. Without a villain like me, they wouldn't all cling to you like this." I'm shocked, that's make me sit with my mouth wide open , just wow
Mr rose is one of the most epic characters I ever come across, dude is there to make everything interesting the way how he messed up your mind and being a cruel psycho.
This webtoon is such a pleasent surprise
I legit got tear in my eyes in last chapter when Mr White appeared and being the narcissist he always been
It's such a fantastic work
Art is crazy good too

Didn't expect to find a gem!

I didn't know human feelings and emotions could be elaborated this well.. the author did a really great job! As someone who is an enthusiast when it comes personalities, I find this story captivating and intriguing. How fun it is to see a question like "Do you really know me?" could put someone in a life and death situation.

To be honest, I wasn't aware of the genre when I read it. It just came quite a shock at the beginning and it made me finish the entire thing in one sitting as I got really hooked! The mystery is well structured along with the plot and character development.

I totally recommend this, even if you like yaoi or not, you won't waste time reading this.

A- rollercoaster!

I was so offended when we went through ALL THAT rollercoaster of 48 chapters and then he DIDNT REMEMBER!!! Boy got off easy lmao.

When Mr Rose offered to kill off one of the personalities forever, I was like, hell no that's cheating! To grow as a person you have to overcome your flaws on your own. But then I thought if I could kill off a part of myself I would do it in a heartbeat. Goodbye fearful procrastinator! :P

But fr this was good! The middle meandered a bit and probably could have cut some chapters or tightened them up. And at one point I thought Doyoung was bipolar lol his emotions were all over the place. But the ending was so perfect! I def teared up when he saw a certain hair color!

What a treasure Doyoung is to be able to love all parts of someone unconditionally. Goals to date someone like him, but even moreso goals to become someone like him!
