The beginning really had me guessing as to who the fake vs real ones were. I liked the initial kind of whodunnit scenario that was played out, and thought it nicely delved into the characters' fear of being mistake as a fake while they each truly believed they were the real one.
However, as the story progressed I, like Doyoung, began to come to the conclusion that each of the Hyunjins were real and were simply different aspects of his personality. A somewhat horrifying realization when taking into account all of the characters that had already been lost. But also a thoroughly bittersweet and emotional relatable realization, as I think everyone can relate to having parts of themselves that they wish they could change or erase. The story not only portrays these thoughts and feelings we have toward different aspects of ourselves, but also shows how they play into our relationships with others. How positive or negative, all aspects of a person's personality are a necessary part of the whole that makes up an individual. And that part of loving someone and being in an authentic relationship with them means that they must be willing to accept that each of these aspects are a part of the person they love. That one cannot only take the good parts of a person but must accept that each and everyone of us is flawed and can at times be selfish or cowardly or scared.

Honestly, I just thought it was such a wonderful portrayal of the multifacetedness of people as individuals. And I was so happy at the end when Doyoung saw all of the parts of Hyunjins, including the ones that I feared may have been erased.

I was so offended when we went through ALL THAT rollercoaster of 48 chapters and then he DIDNT REMEMBER!!! Boy got off easy lmao.

When Mr Rose offered to kill off one of the personalities forever, I was like, hell no that's cheating! To grow as a person you have to overcome your flaws on your own. But then I thought if I could kill off a part of myself I would do it in a heartbeat. Goodbye fearful procrastinator! :P
