Description
Yuuhi-kun planned to build a soccer field on the piece of mountain land that was his inheritance, but when his brother's elite Shuuiku Academy needed a new campus, Yuuhi was forced to reconsider. Now he finds himself both the landlord, and a student at the school! Needless to say, the other students are none too happy about being shipped out to the boonies, so Yuuhi – AKA “chicken-head” – has become the object of their collective ire. ... Well this manga is really pointless. And kind of...WTF-like. Got no plot, meaningful ending or whatever.
I don't like the "main" protagonist at all. And everything. He looks too much like just kid...and it just feels wrong >.< Lot of things in this manga feel really wrong.
And to tell the truth the only reason why I read it to the very end was I was quite interested in relationship between (side characters?) Hayate and Kanya. No other good thing for me there.
Maybe one more thing..some times it's quite funny.

I decided to read this after reading all the poor reviews and I don't think they are entirely warranted. This is a silly, "pointless" story with no real ending, but the story telling, characters and art make it a pretty enjoyable read anyway. It's not laugh out loud hilarious, but it has it's own kind of humor and isn't without cute, squishy couples(though I don't personally have an issue with infidelity or loose characters in a lot of stories). I staggered reading each volume between reading some more serious series and I think it was perfect for that as the "story" is simple and the characters well defined, so it's easy to jump in and out of with no risk of getting lost and no chance of getting emotionally involved.
The style is really cute and the story is pretty much like... okay, who am I trying to kid? There is no story. It's just a lot of gay guys in a school and different scenarios. If you are looking for a cute way to spend time, this is good. If you are looking for an interesting story, put this on the shelf.

But as I kept reading I realised that was not the point. At first it's like a BL-game, but after the maincharacter have found his love interest people start pairing up and well.. it's cute.
Tori and the Chairman made me squeel the most~

i would consider this one of the worst series i have ever read... it's too messed up to understand what is going on... in story all the guys are gay kissing and feeling each other and trying to rape the poor kid. This series is full of pedos and extremely disturbing.
i don't understand why this story was rated so high.
the themes were boring, there was no ending, some of the plots were funny but not enough
basically i don't see anything amazing, and it was a disappointment compared to their other works.

Somehow, this story left an impression on me even though the characters frustrated me sometimes and the plot wasn't particularly special.
What I liked most about it was probably Hayate and Kanya's relationship - they had so many problems and fought all the time that I found them completely adorable. I wish that the story had focused more on them. Other than that, the rest of the story was forgettable (the main couple wasn't my cup of tea at all); but, as always, I love Honami Yukine's art so it was worth my time.

just question marks floating around my head as i was reading this...plot was ok...you won't miss anything if you don't read this, art is good of course as honami-sensei's art is one of my favorite =)
I just couldn't get into this at all. I read it because I had heard some good reviews about it, but honestly it wasn't engaging at all. The characters weren't interesting and - gah, I don't know, it just gave me a bad feeling. Like I was reading someone's rape-fantasy.
At first this manga is like all over the place and I didnt' feel like reading it all but I'm glad I did! In the end everything pieces together perfectly and all the characters look really different (which helps so that you don't get confused). I love this mangaka's other works and she really didnt disappoint with this one
