I'll say, my reading experience went downhill after #hat panels.

I loved how funny and crackheaded it is at first, and then I loved it because I loved the boys and their friends. The denouement of Arima's savior put that character into a whole new light and it was bonkers emotional throughout, especially when we learned what both had lived through and Arima's connection with the uke.

Rest well, Sensei, and thank you for these two and their loveliness.

This is a really high quality manga but my GOSH is there some profound secondhand embarrassment—though it gets better after the second chapter. I also felt that it ended somewhat abruptly. Some readers might appreciate that not all loose ends were tied up neatly, but to me it felt a bit incomplete. I would have like to see a little more understanding achieved between the main characters given the story's focus on communication.

I thought this story was so sweet and touching, love how the two mains managed to overcome their own traumas spurned by their meeting and getting to know one another.

The art is absolutely exceptional and unique. It doesn't feel like a regular BL work, more like seinen style, but still warm and light. I'm in love with the cover, it looks SO good!

One thing I did notice is that the pacing is a little too quick for my liking. If this was spaced into 2 volumes, I feel that the emotional weight of some of the events in the manga would be given their own space to breath before moving onto the next event, and we could have some time to see the characters grow a little more organically. I can see how this would have been difficult, however. I am so sad to know that this mangaka has passed away after such a promising debut work! Such a large loss, I feel like they would have made many more impactful pieces.

Despite only having one volume. Been a long time since I've read something that made me laugh a couple of times. This manga strays away from the usual genres of BLs so it kinda left a memory in me. As if I was reading a shounen manga but this one has ai in it. Seriously though the author did a great job on packing up this kind of story with lots of feels in just a few chapters. Great read!

the exceptional art carries itself effortlessly and makes it look like a movie, deep and almost nostalgic in some panels, comedic and light in others. Lovely. Made me laugh many times

I love sensei’s art. It looks so soft and cuddly to look at. Not your very typical mangaka, that is why their work is very refreshing.

I love the art style, and the story in many aspects. Can't wait for the translation to complete, will seek out other works from this author. Recommended!
