Kan-chan and Osamu go on a vacation... to HELL!
1 Volume (Complete)

First story is Ok. It's equivalent to "it was all but a dream" sort of twist.
Personally, I prefer second story as we see the thoughts and a little drama. So yea.
I would've rated this a hard 10 if it had consisted of only the first story. It's funny, it's cute, it's hot, has adorable characters, and I really like the slice-of-life atmosphere. It wasn't too much of a surprise to know this author writes seinen and stuff other than BL too.
Did not care for the second one too much though. Its narration severely lacks a cohesive direction and was kind of a mess actually. The heavy focus on the cousin was very misleading and acted as a big hindrance in driving the story forward naturally. There's also almost no chemistry between the couple - the combination of an a-hole seme and pitiful uke never does the trick. What a shame.
The first chapter annoyed the hell out of me (bc I'm not really favorable wirh childish whims just to test the feelings of one's partner). But the story in the succeeding chapters gets better so I guess it's okay. The second was idk. I didn't bother to finish it bc eh.
I always loved the first couple. And when i see the slice of life genre on this i think about them. I agree with everyone, that guy saying he was getting married and forcing a vacation with his lover was messed up. It also seemed out of character considering how he acts in the next chapters. The second story always frustrated me back then. But i couldnt remember why. As i was reading it, i was dreading how it'd end but it was actually a pretty okay ending. I think i just didnt like the unfinished feel to it. They could've at least had another chapter or an omake about the resolution. I think the older guy had always thought he had romantic love for Teru. But when Teru slept over he fell asleep right away because he had a platonic love for him and was basically a security blanket, he didnt have the same attraction that he had for the male prostitute kid. Yeah that story feels really unfinished and it kind of puts a damper on the manga
I really liked the first story. It was funny, it was cute, very well done. The second story however, bleh. It misleads you on who the two males leads are so while I'm hoping things will end one way. Nope, they go another. Which normally if I had wanted those two together (if introduced properly) I would have loved this story too, but it was just bad.
The rating got lowered down a lot because of this second story.
Overall this was a nice book. The artwork is far from my ideal one but I liked the stories and especially the first one. Though at first I thought Osamu was a real a*****e and didn't really like the 1st chapter that much (I mean realy, that was a little too much if he just wanted to know for sure Kan-chan loved him!), I still ended up liking the story of Kan-chan and Osamu.
Imo the second one wasn't executed that well. It wasn't the open ending but I was left with the feeling that I didn't get to know Kishi and Teru well enough. The 3rd kid was written well, but in the end the last story just wasn't satisfying...
Both stories were good but I especially liked the second one, "The Queen of the Night". The lack of melodrama was refreshing. Seeing the story from all three characters point of view was very insightful as well. It truly gave a 'slice of life' feel.
Though I still wondered why Kishi's parents left him in the first place... (or did they commit suicide?)
The first story was pretty good, nothing more to say to that. On the other hand the second story started with one character's point of view, which made you empathize with him, and then the author shifts POV to the "rival"(not a real rival it seems, but i couldn't help feeling so) of the first one. The way the second story is written makes you invest your feeling on the first charcter, so when things turn out good for the second character, you feel kind of "cheated" on the first charcters behalf, even though and because the feelings of the seme by the end are not quiet clear. From what I gather from the other comments, there is some people that don't feel the same way as I do, but there are plenty other that do. So, advice, don't invest your feelings on the first character that is introduced in the second story and that way you'll be able to enjoy it.
I didn't like the first chapter of the first story, but it got much better in the second chapter, they make a cute couple.
The second story was very interesting, although it also was a slice of life kind of story, there was some drama in it and I like the twist.
But the art... Oh, the art... :-( So bad. Really hard on the eyes.
