Kan-chan and Osamu go on a vacation... to HELL!
1 Volume (Complete)

I even liked the 2nd story a lot. I mean, isn't that how things happen sometimes?
Things are pretty fuddled until you make up your mind to let go of someone who's clearly never going to reciprocate your feelings. I like the way the entire situation was resolved without much drama, like some slice of life manga. And life can be pretty much ambiguous sometimes, until you look back later.
Crap. I was planning on rating this so high but the last story ruined it! I can't criticize it properly since I skimmed through the last 2 parts of it but from the beginning it was such a mess. The beginning was misleading!
Who was the other protagonist here? It felt like the prostitute! Which wouldn't make sence since the kid was the first one to be mentioned in the story. It was unorganized. I just didn't like it.
The FIRST story on the other hand was awesome. It was so cute how the seme did all that just for the uke. I really thought their story would end after one chapter but it just kept on going. I loved it! It got me a closer look at the characters and how deep their love for each other was. Anyway, I only recommend the 1st story which was chapters 1-4.
Seriously, don't read the 2nd story. It'll just mess with you
The first story was pretty good, nothing more to say to that. On the other hand the second story started with one character's point of view, which made you empathize with him, and then the author shifts POV to the "rival"(not a real rival it seems, but i couldn't help feeling so) of the first one. The way the second story is written makes you invest your feeling on the first charcter, so when things turn out good for the second character, you feel kind of "cheated" on the first charcters behalf, even though and because the feelings of the seme by the end are not quiet clear. From what I gather from the other comments, there is some people that don't feel the same way as I do, but there are plenty other that do. So, advice, don't invest your feelings on the first character that is introduced in the second story and that way you'll be able to enjoy it.
The first chapter annoyed the hell out of me (bc I'm not really favorable wirh childish whims just to test the feelings of one's partner). But the story in the succeeding chapters gets better so I guess it's okay. The second was idk. I didn't bother to finish it bc eh.
It's an ok read, but I prefer the first stories, instead of the last one I would have liked to read more about Osamu and Kan-Chan. :3
The first story made me cry a little, Osamu is cruel for making up such a lie. It's a horrible feeling losing the person you love to someone else in such a way. It just brought back bad memories, but I was happy that Kan-Chan beat him up ^o.o^
The rest of the stories with Osamu and Kan-Chan are cute, I like them. Also the art is nice, I like that it's different from most mangas. The last story left me with some mixed feeling. I guess Kishi's feelings are a bit complicated and they weren't easy to understand so I kept feeling like he was somehow cheating on Teru e_e I think he made up his mind in the end but the story left me a bit unsatisfied.
At first I did think that the second story is somewhat odd.
However after re-reading it for 5 times, I've come to a conclusion that this open ending Sensei left us with actually makes sense. Nishi did say that he loved Teru however it's only family love and Teru hasnt showed any significant sign that he loves Nishi in a romantic way. While Hira is clearly madly in love with Nishi. It's a nice thing that Nishi and Hira can finally be together because I do believe they truly are happy to be with each other. Hopefully, Teru will also find someone he loves as well. That way, all three of them will have a happy ending in their own ways. I really wish the characters to be happy so whatever choice they make as long as it's what they want, I'll support it.
I've always known that Sensei's stories are really dark but to this extent that made me felt annoyed the first time I read the story is a bit extreme. I'm really looking forward to reading Sensei's next stories. :x
First story is Ok. It's equivalent to "it was all but a dream" sort of twist.
Personally, I prefer second story as we see the thoughts and a little drama. So yea.
I would've rated this a hard 10 if it had consisted of only the first story. It's funny, it's cute, it's hot, has adorable characters, and I really like the slice-of-life atmosphere. It wasn't too much of a surprise to know this author writes seinen and stuff other than BL too.
Did not care for the second one too much though. Its narration severely lacks a cohesive direction and was kind of a mess actually. The heavy focus on the cousin was very misleading and acted as a big hindrance in driving the story forward naturally. There's also almost no chemistry between the couple - the combination of an a-hole seme and pitiful uke never does the trick. What a shame.
I always loved the first couple. And when i see the slice of life genre on this i think about them. I agree with everyone, that guy saying he was getting married and forcing a vacation with his lover was messed up. It also seemed out of character considering how he acts in the next chapters. The second story always frustrated me back then. But i couldnt remember why. As i was reading it, i was dreading how it'd end but it was actually a pretty okay ending. I think i just didnt like the unfinished feel to it. They could've at least had another chapter or an omake about the resolution. I think the older guy had always thought he had romantic love for Teru. But when Teru slept over he fell asleep right away because he had a platonic love for him and was basically a security blanket, he didnt have the same attraction that he had for the male prostitute kid. Yeah that story feels really unfinished and it kind of puts a damper on the manga
Overall this was a nice book. The artwork is far from my ideal one but I liked the stories and especially the first one. Though at first I thought Osamu was a real a*****e and didn't really like the 1st chapter that much (I mean realy, that was a little too much if he just wanted to know for sure Kan-chan loved him!), I still ended up liking the story of Kan-chan and Osamu.
Imo the second one wasn't executed that well. It wasn't the open ending but I was left with the feeling that I didn't get to know Kishi and Teru well enough. The 3rd kid was written well, but in the end the last story just wasn't satisfying...
