Description
After 2050, Tokyo. The sixteen-year-old gifted police detective Kyouko Karasuma works for a special devision in the Asakusa Police Department. Her rather abnormal cases involve: fighting oni, tengu, and other monsters from Asian myths and legends. The modern art by the character designer of Speed Grapher works very well with the action-heavy story line and the overall art improves with each volume.

Its really hard to judge this, it seems like an interesting concept, and the art is nice, but thats about it.
I can't really take it seriously because anything that happens, she tends to know, or be related to it. I feel nothing out of the characters, and lost the motivation to continue reading this after 2 chapter. The character introduction failed to introduce the characters.

Pretty art, completely pointless story. It had a slightly interesting start, complemented with some nice eyecandy. However, the storyline went downhill from there and turned into a rather confusing mess. I'm not sure if it even deserves a 5 since it seemed to be a mish mash of various cliched ideas.

It's pretty well drawn, and I had hopes that there really could be some story in there. But after it looked like it would turn into "fight supernatural bad guy of the week" kind of stuff, I lost interest. Still, one can always hope it perks up.

Not the best, but it has potential

Just like many other mangas, this story starts off with a bunch of one shot chapters that introduce the characters. At this point, nothing much else has happened, so I still don't know what to expect of this manga. However, the story is pretty good. The artwork, however, leaves a lot to be expected, mostly because the separate panels don't mesh well together. So if you don't care about artwork at all, you will probably end up liking this.
