Despite an extremely weak beginning, there IS plot. If you are able to get past all the bdsm stuff, then the story is surprisingly deep. It's not philosophical or profound, but there is enough substance that one wouldn't necessarily stick around ONLY for the smut. The humour is pretty hit and miss imo. Once in a while, characters spout the stupidest lines. If you don't take this read too seriously, then it's alright.

Blood Bank is a manhwa with lots of heavy sexual content and nudity. Being a Boys Love comic, the sexual content is even more intense than most Manhwa. But underneath all the fangirl service lies a decent story and good characters. If you are able to see past all the dirty aspects, you should be able to enjoy Blood Bank to a certain degree.

I gave Blood Bank a 3/10, which is one of the highest rating I gave out in recent years. One point for the authors dedication and outstanding effort towards the art and facial expression of the characters. Another point for the character development and their back stories. The last point is for the creative story line and setting.

To tell you the truth, I'm not really a fan of BDSM..
Some works that I've read so far had to much pain infliction and not enough love.
But Blood Bank is an exemption!!!

I usually go for the story and not the actual sex (though i usually don't mind them...) when reading YAOI works.
And Blood Bank has an interesting plot that deepens as you progress with it.
It's not all abou sex!! There is a good amount of excitement and tension..
I cannot count on how many times I'm on the edge of my seat screaming and cheering for the main characters.
Also the romance between the protagonist is realistic and I really feel the love between them....

I totally recommend reading this series..
It's one of the reason on why I'm hook in Korean webcomics right now.:

OK IF U THINK HOW THE COUPLE STARTED SHOULDN'T MATTER, THEN THIS IS A GOOD READ. OTHERWISE, DON'T BOTHER TO READ THIS.

I don't know what to feel. Everything would've been fine if

THEY HAD VANILLA SEX IN THE LATEST CHAPTER. BUT NOOOOOOO. THEY F COULDN'T. ERIC JUST HAD TO GET HIS F BELT AND TIE SHELL'S HANDS DURING SEX. WHAT THE F H!!! I WON'T DENY THAT I WAS REALLYYYYY HAPPY WHEN FINALLY ERIC WAS THINKING OF SHELL (tho he left him, but at least he thought a little for Shell) BUT JUST WTF!!! ! ERIC REALLY HAD TO SLAP SHELL'S ASS WHILE SEX!!!! I JUST CAN'T EUGHHH T____T

Words cannot describe what I feel about this manhwa....
I was expecting it to be an OK bdsm stpry but......there is soooo much more to it....the story is well paced, and I just CAN'T put this down.

When I was told to read this by a friend, at first I was like ok, another vampire/ yaoi manga. But the story quickly makes the reader relate to the characters and it is so well written, especially with how the story unfolds later on.

This is a really good manwha and I hope more people read it. At first I was just totally meh but omg I got invested in the story quick. All I can say is Shell you sweet, cute, huggable, adorable cinnamon roll!!! I just wanna hug and cuddle him =D One you smexy master seme @@ the scenes between them are soo hot!

Words cannot describe how much feels I have right now. This isn't your normal BDSM nor vampire story. It dives much deeper than that. To me, it depicts the current condition of the LGBTQ through another universe. The characters are well fleshed out, the setting is good, the balance between sweetness and angst is flawless. There is definitely plot in this, and the more I read it, the more it becomes harder to put it down. I highly recommend it.

Don't expect any plot. This story is about the light kinky-play between a weak-minded, crybaby vampire and a human that enjoys standing on top of him. The human looks just like Cherry/Chris from Vassalord. That's all there is about it. The smut scenes aren't even that great.

This is so good!!!!!! I love it!!!!! I love how it looks like it was just going to be a smutty s&m yaoi storyline but turned into a whole other dramatic story. I love how it goes into the relationship between humans and vampires and One's identity! I love the drawing, the colors! I love it all. Can't wait it to end! This manhwa is seriously underrated and needs more credit.
