No big surprises in there, you can easily guess the plot as you read on. But i liked it nonetheless, i really liked the heroine and her personnality. Her friends too.
It's refreshing to read a shoujo manga where the characters don't make a big fuss over a little kiss and where the quiproquos don't last too long!

For a oneshot, you can easily give it a try

This is a so-so typical series. An impulsive girl who likes to dress up (especially in heels) falls in love at first sight with a calm, good-looking guy with a tragic past despite the playboy friend of hers who is really in love with her. All signs point to her crush not liking her, unless you're the reader... then it's blindingly obvious. The tragedy is really glossed over and doesn't give much depth to the story (although I did like how Kurahashi-sensei tried to work the high heels theme in). I prefer her longer stories with better relationship and plot development, such as Max Lovely.
