I quickly lost interest in this manhwa or webtoon, it was super boring and confusing. And OH MY GOD the female lead is so annoying, I dislike everything about this webtoon

I started this after surprised by how good Lookism is. Both revolves about good looks and since I was captured by how well Lookism utilizing "looks" in developing the main character's personality and world view, that's not the case in this series

Ah, Strawberry. A 'cutie' with horrible personality that adored by everyone on the school she dwell in. Turned out that she got 'dark past' and she completely crushed and end up bullied because of that (LOL don't you guys just love it. 'tragic' heroine my oh my hahahahaha. To me that trivial past just seems like an excuse to make reader to forgive her 'sins'). Her personality is anything but consistency. Shy when still fat, explosive and arrogant at earlier chapter, calm and "wise' at the later chapter. That's not character development, that changing the heroine completely. Bullying huh? Really? To me it seems like that only used to enhance a "damsel in distress" status on her. Nothing else. Bullying? Ha! that's like 2-3 chapter or what?

Ah Walnut, the ultimate prince TAILORED just for the main heroine.
He's handsome and manly. Horray. Girls, shout it out: KYAAAAAAA
He start allergic to 'woman'. Horray to no cheating.

Reveled later that he's actually a heir of the super rich family and he lied to teh heroine before cause he don't want to be judged (LOLOLOL so he's allergic to woman when he lied before cough hypocrite cough well 'played' cough pick up artist in disguise cough it's fine's he's hensem cough), Horray to grand prize. When I say grand prize, I mean GRAND PRIZE. LOOOOOOOOL
After he extabilish a stable relationship with the heroine and revealed that he's actually the 'heir', he suddenly have to spend some time away from her. To add antagonistic situation, his family somewhat against their relationship. WHAAAATTT? "I DON'T SEE THAT COMING" hahaha
Don't you guys just love him? LOLOLOLOL

Mandarin, the 'ultimate' (pfffft) antagonist.
Yandere tier clinginess + a guy. Just plain creepy, nothing else.
Dislike the 'prince' but barely able to compete with him in every criteria. Just say it; money, manliness, romance, (Yeah right, we need to ensure that the prince will definitely win LOL. Couldn't be more obvious)

I haven't seen a more obvious villain that destined, designed, tailored to lose. You see, even a villain that got obvious title as "demon king" could give a nice surprise counter attack whether it's verbally or through fist. He's just...................a goblin tier last boss.What is this? Kid mode? Not even Easy? There's no contest from the very start, the prince's position is already firmly established. Even his 'admirer' is a guy, I already see the ending.

Cherry, she just seems like a convenient tool that can be either antagonist or protagonist.

Creative? Hardly. Rich prince, tragic heroine, loser villain. What's so mind blowing about that? A prince fighting a goblin to won over a damsel in distress. Usually it's up to Demon king level but this is just on such a mob feeder level.
Unusual? Yes in a bad way. Even kids story from 500 years ago no longer tell story in such obvious manner.

Very cheap and obvious series, You haven't seen the bottom of bad storytelling and characterization before you see this one.

This webtoon (?) starts out basically in gag/WTF is happening mode. I've dropped it before, but this time I read through a few more chapters. We start actually understanding what is happening and why the characters are behaving in these ways by chapter 20, I think, and I think it does a good job of telling a dramatic story without excusing all logic. There is no sudden character change to rapist. No important person suddenly dying of cancer. I can appreciate this.
I actually really like this webtoon's MC. She's got flaws (a lot of them, actually), but she isn't afraid to say what she wants the majority of the time, and can stand up for herself. As we see her backstory and her friendships develop, I think that she ends up being an admirable character. She's not a goody-two shoes (think Lime's sister), or some sort of anti-heroine. I think for people who aren't prone to seeing black/white or have enough life experience, she's a pretty likable character. To address a previous comment about her, I honestly don't think you've properly understood what happened. Really.
Despite the light-comedic nature of this webtoon, it does touch upon serious issues, like real-life responsibility, abusive relationships, infidelity, self-confidence, and mental illness. There are moments that some of us well-read shoujo readers will say, "I have a bad feeling about this..." but despite the admittedly hundreds of shoujo manga I've read, but I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised. Every one of these characters' actions has implications, some more disturbing than others. There is no magic forgetting of things people have done.

So I thought this was going to be a cliched series (high school setup with popular mean girls and bad boys, etc.) but it was a pleasant surprise not just for the story but for the characters as well. Like what the previous reviews said, the series starts to pick up at around Chapter 15 and from there, I'm already binge reading. Don't miss out on this great series!

Reminds me of cheese in the trap

Still reading the manga, will update this comment later. But so far it's an interesting story made so by the intriguing characters. My initial reaction to the cover, the harem tag, and even the summary was, this manga would be good to read as fluff (which I enjoy when the situation calls for it), however as this story progresses, my initial impression was blown away to dust. The characters in the story are well rounded, and have both their good and bad sides. There is a hint of mystery that compells the reader to read on the story. But most of all the main characters with their psychological issues and complexities is really the winning point in this manga.

Get ready for a rollercoast of feels. Especially when you're trying to so hard cheer the girl protagonist and then psychoness just happens. It started out as a comedy and went down really REALLY fast (man, that unhealthy relationship....) Still, it's my favorite and I blazed through 54 chapters of it. Just as long it doesn't have any cliches, like someone get amnesia, I'll be happy how it turns out (even though....psychos....)

The beginning was near turn-off crazy. The characters seemed insane, irrational, painfully self-absorbed and unlikable - but wow did this series do a 180.. By around chapter 15 there is character development and they begin to seem more human and real. On top of it, we get in-depth explanations for their behavior based on the past the further along the story gets. It's also just a pretty funny read.

And to top that top, there are a lot of twists... I'm not even sure if you could call them cliche (almost all twists are) because I actually found them pretty surprising - like the author could just be pulling this sh*t out of a hat and stringing the story along - but hey it all still makes sense, things are just delicately foreshadowed (or maybe I'm just slow).

I don't feel like typing much, but all I will say is that this is an original, interesting shoujo that has characters with personality.

Mostly, I want to emphasize that Berry isn't a terrible, unlikeable main character. Her behavior and decisions are explained as the manga progresses. She has a back story and character development. I actually like that she has sides of her that aren't likeable and that need maturing because it makes her more real and interesting.

I adore Strawberry. If I had the opportunity to be worshipped like a goddess and date a guy who treats me right, I would.
Cherry is a well-rounded character with just the right amount of flaws.
From what I read in whats been translated so far, the whole cheating thing doesn't irk me ( I'm usually annoyed by unfaithful characters)

Darin was cheating on his girlfriend with Strawberry in the first place, and originally went out with her to toy with her. When she breaks up with him, he acts like a child whose lost their favorite toy. So I feel like the male characters deserve as much crap as Strawberry's getting for their actions.

The entire cast is different from what's standard in a shoujo.

And the art is gorgeous. I really love the way the artist colors eyes.

1.female lead was fatty in past and her boyfriend was best in her class then also he loved and helped her to become pretty and smart...
2.afterward she dumped her boyfriend(gave no reason for beak up one sided) who was loyal to her and loved her and went after another boy.....in spite of him begging not to live him....
3.after dumping him she treats him as he is some kind of germ...///// and always avoid him and doesn't give damn about him.....and never ever reflected on her action.....basically she used him
4.now do u want to still read romance of such uNfaithful girl....//// ??? ??? .

. Even after she started dating another boy ...the boy still loved her and never went for another girl.....
...and the boy she is currently dating treats him as germ....really pissess me off......
