Bit of a nightmare

I initially thought it’s great the author made a genuine attempt to tackle sexual trauma here, and then in the end victim blames both characters. There’s no resolution to either of their traumas besides a general acknowledgment that what happened, did indeed happen and then “okay time to move on haha here’s the smut guys”. They just sort of get from being traumatized to being fine and dandy which is not very convincing in the male leads case, when he was essentially still being treated like the problem in his family compared to the step-mom (if I remember correctly). And also the child situation is just glossed over. It just comes off as a story that is twisted purely for the sake of being twisted, and at that point at least commit and give it a sad ending.

I don’t think it’s a terrible story or anything but the writing isn’t great, the smut is a weird addition given the context, and the author writing in favor of the abusers over the victims just all around sucks.

Too many things left unresolved

the fact that they don't properly clear up who the damn father is honestly will annoy me to no end. It almost pisses me off.

Also, the fact that the pedo, and attempted rapist both got a slap on the wrist, also pissed me off.

What a great way to wreck a potentially good story. Horrible follow through. !<

If you're looking for tons of smut then this is not the manga for you. At least not so far (currently at chapter 19).

There's only been heavy petting between our leads so far.

The art is not amazing but the story is really engaging. Well, at least for me. We have two leads whose past have traumatised them enough to not be able to have intimate connections with the opposite sex.

The reasons behind their current predicament are quite heavy. So far, we have a clearer picture of Taichi's past and honestly, it sickened me and made me feel so sad for him. Just a trigger warning,

there's child grooming/rape involved

As for Satoko, we have only gotten hints on what caused her allergy to handsome men and who the culprit is. The story still hasn't gotten to a clearer flashback on that matter but it's getting there.

Right now, I'm enjoying how our two leads are helping to heal each other's wounds and how their presence in each other's life is helping them to face their past and to move on with their life.

Honestly, I really want to see their relationship progress further but this story only updates once every 2-3 months. It's really frustrating 😭. Last year(2020), we only had 5 new Japanese chapters...

Anyway, I recommend this story to those looking for a more mature manga that focuses more on the plot than the smut.
