It does have everything yuri enthusiasts need to deliver deeper into the genre but as people could see Yuu is that annoying character albeit she's better than most I'm this category ..Loved other characters even tho some just got put on a bus without much explanation

Bloom Into You takes the most standard yuri manga cliches imaginable, from the school setting for the senpai-kouhai romance to the jealous friend-unrequited lover, and executes with such heart that it stands head and shoulders above most of the genre. Even though manga without much going on in the plot department must put extra emphasis upon their character development and relationship progression to compel readers to keeping reading them, few rise to the challenge. Even fewer have something interesting to say (the dreaded theme).

The main characters have much to learn and sort out, and they consistently do so with each passing chapter. This refreshing sense of progression is all to uncommon, and if it possessed that alone it would be worth a 7.

What pushes it to a 9 is the powerful theme about how to love someone even as they, you, and your relationship inevitably changes. This a great choice of theme for a romance story, and the manga makes a great point on how love (and perhaps all long-lasting relationships) are built on trust that the other person will stay true to what made the relationship worthwhile in the first place.

Is it worldshattering? Maybe not. But trust is too often taken for granted, only be be sorely missed when it is lost and all the machinery of society that it once lubricated rusts and grinds itself to dust. How trust must be maintained even as the trusted and the trustee and the thing being entrusted between them are touched by time, is worthwhile in any time and any place.

This hits so many marks on my how awesome this yuri is check list, it's not a cliche all girls school setting, it has a more realistic feel to it, it has male characters that arnt teachers, it's about them not the yuri, it's more than a handful of chapters! I would have given this a 10 but I kinda wanted just a little more drama. It's well worth the read for the GL and slice of life fans give it a go!

Like other commenters said, this is a well-written manga without fan-service, but the characters are still exceptionally beautiful. The story is heart-warming and I recommend it to anyone who wants a lovely read.

Imagine a well-written yuri with no gross fanservice, interesting characters, and to top it all off, gorgeous art. That's exactly what this manga is and I hope more yuri artists can look at this and understand that this is what the people want lol

I love this so much! I haven't bothered writing a comment before since I was thinking the story wouldn't be too long and I could wait until it was finished but that's probably not going to happen anytime too soon so yeah.
I don't know where to start though, it's just... it's so good! It's a slow burn and it's like the mangaka could drag this on for ages and I'd still stick around and anticipate what happens next! There is always enough payoff! All the characters so far are interesting and even the ones with smaller parts feel important for the overall story and feeling of it.
