Really good and less of angst compared to the spinoff involving one of the side characters

Premise was interesting, had stellar art and writing was good. Not sure if I waited ages for it to end but I don't see myself ever finishing it for the forseeable future. Seems like a happy ending though! I think

the mangaupdates cover tho, lololololol. they look too different [from how they are drawn in the comic]. i wonder if this cover was drawn after the author has started drawing shape of sympathy? it’d explain the increased amount of details lmao

vol 1 a bit better than vol 2?

Vol 1 was lovely, the funny faces cracked me up, I couldn't stop reading. But after they got together I found it a bit hard to relate to Moogyeong (haha I had to look up his name... 🙁 ), maybe because I wasn't reading as closely, maybe because I no longer felt that will they-won't they dynamic. It was still very good though.

Realistic with the best slow burn ever

After reading For Your Love, I have definitely fallen in love with Park Nodeok's writing AND art style.

There's a lot of dialogue and monologues, but it doesn't get boring at all, the plot and the relationships moves on slowly, but it is not draggy in the least.

The characters grow and mature together, but Yohan's character development in particular was my favorite. He really matured a lot throughout the story and was super duper cute, lovable and respectful towards Moogyeong. He went from a close minded brat to someone who knows how to value others and that was really nice to see.

Yohan and Moogyeong's relationship also was built so well, they both made sure to understand their own feelings and talked like adults (of course, they may have took a bit of time to get to that, but what's a story without its dramas right XD) to solve their misunderstandings. I really like how the slow burn worked so damn well.

Also all the side characters are also likeable and there's no "villain" in the story. It's just two boys meeting, struggling a bit with their differences but slowly falling in love with each other the more they get to know each other.

Anyways, I really recommend this and also the side story Form of Sympathy. Park Nodeok really has an impressive writing for realistic plots and I sure love every bit of it!

slow paces sweetness

I usually stay away from manhwa, but this one was really nice. The characters are endearing, their interactions and connections are sweet, and the drama isn't frustrating. It's actually quite believable. Would have loved for this to go into spicy territory, but the ending is also fitting. I really like how organically the characters evolve over time and come to terms with their relationship and themselves.

Nice work!

Light Drama with adorable, relatable characters.

For Your Love is a mostly realistic, slow burner romance. There are no sex scenes to speak of, and it's a long time before the first kiss. While this may put some people off, this manga does everything it sets out to do and at a good quality. There's plenty of drama (nothing heavy though) and lots of introspection from the main characters. The characters are much more realistic then most bl titles as well. Picking this up right after finishing something from Yamamotos catalogue would probably give you whiplash from the contrast in tone.

The side characters serve their purposes and have developed personalities but don't get a ton of screen time. (Except Junseo, goddamn plot impeding bastard.)

As previously stated, the plot does move slowly especially in the beginning. But there are still moments in every chapter that make it worth the read. I'd say the pacing works well for the story that the author wants to tell.

Give it a try.

Sweet webtoon!! *-*

This webtoon is kind of special, 'cause you have to wait probably until chapter 30 to see some development, cause it's very very slowly, sometimes that made me lose my interest, but whenever i see that another chapter is released, i can't stand it and i end up reading it haha. It's a sweet story, with weird protagonists (Yohan is crazy haha) but anyways, it worth reading it if you like shonen ai

spoiler " (on the second season the story start to get romantic and lovey dovey *-*) "
