The plot is interesting as you slowly gather the memories of the protagonist, it isn't really a mystery about what her memory will reveal, but its really the only reason I am reading this because the story execution really messes up what could have been a pretty decent story.
The story feels rushed, every chapter feels like it wants to end on a bang and if that means chopping character development, character interactions, world building you name it, all will be chopped in the name of ending the chapter on suspense.
A lot of the scenes feel jerky, not connecting smoothly, its like watching a movie with a jerky camera effect through the entire movie. It really distracts from the story.
The FL is yet another victim of falling in love b.c of what she read about a person instead of you know actually building chemistry with said ML.
The characters are "supposed" to be interesting...but the FL has more chemistry with chicken than she does the ML, and has more personal one on one conversations with the telephone prince than she does with any of the people she is traveling with.
Nobody in the group really has a personality. The ML is a doctor...the best friend is the nice guy who likes the novels FL...the novels FL is nice and looks powerful only when she is attacking weak people...the brother of the novels FL is an aggressive shipper... and lastly the actual FL is covered in so much plot armor and plot convenience that even when she is losing she is winning.
The story feels like it wants to be good, but then drops the ball on how it presents itself, like reading a promo in every chapter instead of the story expanding on things.
