Description

One day a boy, who looks like a kitten to some stands, calls at Manato's door and tells him that from today on he'll be his roommate. It isn't long after that Manato "adopts" this boy as his "pet", but this kitty has its own aim. Anyway, while the "kitten" starts suffering under Manato's coldness, he gets more and more in some kind of love quadrangle of the more steamy kind...

I just HATE Manato!!! This story is too depressing and disturbing! I could not stomach the fact that he is so LOOSE!! I continued reading expecting that, in the end, Manato would be able to choose just ONE!! But NOO! Argh! I really hate him! He could do it with anybody as long as they're male. He's so possessive of his 'pet' yet he just doesn't care of the other's feelings. So SELFISH! I hate that kind of person!

dark, deep, sad

this story scared me, especially the ending was some how shocking. it is too realistic, dark and deep. it made me wondering about the nature of love and how humans can shut themselves up in a dream like reality while seeking for happiness. Manato's destiny was quite painful and sad. every one expecting him to love them while they never give him a warm feeling, always leaving him behind, lonely and betrayed. and Manoto's step mother was the scariest one. while she wasn't evil by nature and had her own reasons for acting like that but yet her cold reasoning and cruel, merciless ways for destroying Manato was terrible, it is the second time during reading a story that I hate a female character this much that I wish I could beat her to death. :-s

Romance Lovers Stay Away

First of all, the arts nice. Second and more importantly, don't even bother with reading this if you want romance. You won't find any romance here, but some totally depraved men with messed up pasts. I found it entertaining but at the same time quite messed up. Its not going to be everyones cup of tea. I gave it a rating of 7 because its not a bad story, it just lacks morals XD

Plot Holes

So.... are we just supposed to forget that Shuu-san showed up at the end of the first chapter? and then... what? either I read a scan that is missing the whole middle or an entire plot was skipped.
Even assuming I missed something, the character development is very lacking, the art is pretty bad, and the story never develops (even though the premise might have been interesting).

most yaoi is centered on sex and more sex, and this is no exception. what different here is, it never try to pull the love game out of nowhere, a cheap trick to make the sex actually 'okay' when the characters never exchange two sentences with each other and somehow there's love. i never truly like that kind of fast 'romance'.

here, it give it straight to you = they are all sex depraved guys, no love in the equation. what even better is their reasons for doing it. eventhough i hate fast romance i hate characters that have sex 'just because' even more. so these characters have their own reasons for engaging in these acts. the main character is a broken lost young man that can never believe in anyone after being betrayed. one guy is an orphan that cannot control his own life, that's why he needs to be controlled. one guy is in love, but with the state of the other guy, can't do anything about it. and the last guy is a gigolo, a cruel mean hearted guy. but i like his forthright assholery, he's better than other characters that act like an assholes but hide behind the tired old shtick 'because i love you'. no, he know what he want and he will get it. well, all the characters are like that, they will fulfill their lust and desire however they can.

the art is not that great, but still tolerable. it's the 90's art, can't do nothing about it. the pacing is fast, and i think if this manga is expended to two volume, developing the characters more, linger on their emotions and past experience that make them the way they are, this will be greater. as it is, i still like it, but something is lacking to make it memorable.

What I like about this yaoi is that its different from the rest. Usually yaoi is all about two guys falling in love. The characters in this story aren't searching for love. They're simply looking for companionship. They want someone around so that they won't be lonely. I like this premise because its realistic. After being hurt by someone you love its understandable that you wouldn't want to fall in love anymore. Anyways, I liked the story and would recommend it

This story is really quite dramatic but the intimate scenes are great, mind you though the ending will leave you wondering wether they can work as a couple or the kind of relationship that they are in or seeking.
