It's good to read and enjoyable, as a strategic-war ,comedy and BL
The most amazed me in this manhua was the clothing fabric detail (Canvas print) and clothes design ,it was so good that I wished I can get a piece of it ,I can see the writer putted alot of effort on it
But wished she done the same with the story lines and plots ,there's alot of holes in it ,and sudden poor twist in relationships links ,that's why I won't rate it cause it's alot better than alot of trash famous (manga,manhwa.manhua) but as individual it have alot of weak points ,the most obvious and offtune one was the drama the writer created in the northen arc ,it was so fake twist
The second most poor plot ,was the king people prejudice over the liu army ,all parties were fighting for the throne and people died in the process, didn't feng when he returned to his home saw it on fire and the town was upside down? Why there was prejudice against liu army ? It was unbelievable scene ,the 2 parties should have revenge against each other ,the king too annihilation the liu army ,why Liu not prejudice too? And treated a saver defending and fighting army as a mercenary? And no one defend or reflect on the matter even liu leader ,who supposedly to be intelligent and daring ...subdued as he and his army was really like that...unnecessary drama and
And last complain is that alot of blah blah blah dialogues, that waste most of the time half chapter...
Anyhow this is the first BL(as the couple both good) that I don't want them to endup together ,it would be more perfect story if it become BRomance and the king would marry the prime minister sister's, and prime minister would stay in his position and marry his woman who stayed by his side ,and both Mc stay together with strong loyal emotional friendship

Everything gets better. The art, the translation, the story, the characters. You just have to bear with the first couple dozens chapter and it gets better. Our main couple's romantic development is beyond slowburn but its still interesting to see how the two would be together. Also, the arts really pleasing to look at especially in the latest chapters (currently there's 143 chapters available). Give it a read, I promise it gets better.
