Twisted yet unbelievably strong

At first, I thought this is gonna be another dark psychological story but it turns out better than I've thought. And one thing for sure, I kinda love Karin's characteristics. She's strong and at times, she'd get all upset because of her disability but in the end, she chose something that she can actually do, even if she can't walk. It's nice to see that kind of spirit in a manga, especially there are disabled people in real life doing things to keep their live going.

I think Okita is fine too, although he seems like as if he's got mental issues in the first few chapters. He gradually became better and better in the rest of the chapters. Although the storyline is nothing special, but somehow the characters are making the storyline into something special. The other characters are really supportive too. One thing I didn't actually like is the constant drama in every chapter. When things got better, one of the characters will go all bonkers and make some kind of drama and ruckus. But I guess it's a nice read. :>

After hearing so many compliments on this manga, I just decided to read it. I kind of like the storyline. Yes, it's unique and different, something you hardly come across while reading shoujo manga. However, I think it has too much dramas in this series. I don't know if it's because I read the whole series in a row that makes me think this way. Well, one thing I always expect after reading books is satisfaction. But after I finished this one, all I could feel was depression. Is it because I'm not suited for those kinds of manga? I'm not sure of it.

Also, I don't really like the artwork. At first, I thought this manga was manhua. Personally, I'm not into manhua's drawing style.. It always looks like it lacks something. I have no idea. I just feel like it. So I just don't like how the mangaka drew her characters in this series. The artwork even freaks me out when the characters become overdramatic.

Still, this series has potential. I never expected Karin to be such a strong girl and Teppei has such a split personality. Well, uh. I rarely read summaries. Also, I didn't enjoy the romance, either. WHAT's WRONG WITH ME?! Well, I know this is such a great story but I still don't like it. Maybe it's because of the way the mangaka expressed her story just didn't impress me. The story is brilliant itself but the manga lacks something. To me, it's stll not enough.

Well, it's only my personal opinion. I still think you guys should give it a try, maybe you'll like it.

I don't know where to begin. I'm so sad this ended. I love this so so much. Especially the characters. I absolutely love Karin. The summary doesn't do the series much justice. The manga is so real that you can't help but feel what the characters feel. They really reached out to me. This manga, even with 3 volumes was powerful and inspirational.

I really enjoyed reading Limited Lover. The manga is very touching. Not only that, it catcher some reality of how people with disability can suffer in society today. I enjoyed the character development and the main character strong will and change in her life. Overall, I think it is a good read and something to think about when someone is facing a challenge in their lives.

I've never read a manga like this before! I really loved the story and especially the character development as well as the romantic development. At first i thought this would be the typical shoujo manga and i hated both main characters but things take a turn later on and it really focuses on the idea of "growth" and people changing. It's about taking time to truly get to know a person and slowly beginning to fall in love with them not to mention how meeting one person can change both your lives as well as who you are. If you're looking for something new to read then i highly recommend this manga because it's definitely worth your time!
EDIT: the art is very well drawn also smile

I realli enjoyed this manga, the characters all develop a lot, especially the main character Karin. It's certainly not your average shoujo manga that's about one person falling in love with the other slowly. This manga has the same kind of storyline like that but the diffrence with other manga is that this one is backed by strenght.I'm glad it's not typical at all and the art is great.

da story is unique because of Karin. The way she accepts the fact that she is handicapped, and the way she perseveres and changes, dat for me was da best part of dis manga. The development of Karin was awesome. Also liked da comedic relief from the gay dude shouni lol

This is one of the most amazing manga ever. It's so touching. Though it is a bit angsty, it's also charming. Though I wasn't expecting much in the beginning, it turned out to be such a sweet read. And no, the heroine was a very headstrong girl who never gave up.
Amazing. Absolutely Amazing. You will regret it if you don't read it. I PROMISE.

it was a bit dramatic but it was real and the characters really posses human feelings...its nice to see the real world in a shojo...

about the characters...i really like them all!!! Teppei starts off as a revenge- seeking, manipulating bastard and Karin starts off as a spoiled little biatch...i really love their character developments!!! i also like the supporting character!!! Shouni and Kiki...they are very supportive...i really like them especially Shouni...hes so gay!!!

about the art...it had its moments...they are times when i despise looking at their faces <when they are angry or shocked>, theyre nose is so...i cant think of the word and their mouth is somehow distorted looking...but the art looks absolutely spectacular at some moments <flashbacks, thinking of people>...

in other words this is a great one...

i really hope that Esthetique will find it in their heart to finish this...god only one chaper left!!! sheeesh...such a cliffhanger...

Spoiler (highlight to view)
about the ending...
the ending was a bit expected and i also noticed that there have been too much crying happening in here...but i really admired the character developments and karin didnt left her dream...thats really something!!!

also the chpter starts with shouni looking a lot like a blood thirsty bruce lee...roflzzz

through out this whole series you see the main character grow as a person.
I like how her becoming handicap made her more independent in many ways. She grows from a spoiled party rich girl to a woman who strives for what she loves.
I think this is a very empowering series.

I hope it has a happy ending though. The last chapter made me cry sad
