First 75 chapters are pretty boring. It gets good for next 100 chapters, but MC has too much plot armor. Characters are shallow. Romance sucks. Pace awful.

Last 59 chapters fell like filler and rushed.

This manhwa let alone the author is pretty underrated. Not a groundbreaking piece of work but a very entertaining manhwa and worth the ride to the very end. My only criticism is that the second half was a bit all over the place. It became more political which was great but I just think events played out to fast even though this manhwa has over 200 chapters.

the characters and the story have depth, the fight scenes are awesome, and the character truly grows. As far as guilty pleasure action manga goes, this takes the cake. It's not exactly a deep character drama, but the character relationships are believable, and everyone's motivations fit. That said, it does border on repetition at some points, but always manages to mix it up so it never truly gets stale

I finished all chapters in one single day. That's just how good this series is. The MC is badass, kind, and he moves up from a slave to a martial god of a country, so that just makes it even more epic. His romantic interest is annoying since she's a weak and innocent type, and always waits for the MC to save her a** every single time. But the plot overall is sooo intriguing!
