Pandora's Box led a cursed existence. Through the curiosity of a woman, evil was unleashed and very nearly covered the world in darkness. Miraculously, humanity managed to seal Maou Kestra back into the box, but only with immense sacrifices. Even without their lord, the demons are still a formidable force that has only grown stronger with time, locked in the abandoned capital of the North, Hameln. Fifteen years have passed since that fateful battle...
Enter Hamel, a travelling minstrel who is so self-centered that he'd sooner cook his guardian crow (and family friend), Oboe, than go hungry for even a minute. Welcome to the world of music and hilarious insanity that is the Violinist of Hameln. Watch as Hamel takes cheap shots at his opponents and bashes pigeons with his giant violin and turns them into dinner.
How WILL the world be saved from Maou Kestra (it's a pun for orchestra, if you haven't noticed) with a hero such as this?
37 Volumes (Complete)

This is the funniest, the most outrageous manga I have ever read. I do not reccommend drinking or eating while reading it.
This series is the only reason why I bothered to go through all this hassle to update this information page. 😀
It's sooooooooooo GOOD! XD
The start was "a bit" weird but gets better soon, the art is rather unique and maybe you'll need some time to accustom to it, still its pretty good. (tho I like other "styles" more).
The humor is pretty hilarious, but some jokes get repetitive, still a solid 8/10 maybe a bit more.

One of the few that is serious, funny, wacky, and amazing at the same time! Very unique in its own way, although it may take a while for people to like the art.
This is a prime example of a manga that shouldn't be judged by its initial volumes. (and it's even better if you totally loved the first)
I read the first few chapters, and didn't like it that much. The jokes are too forced, and it got old to me. It IS wacky and outrageous, like all the other reviews say, but this isn't my type of comedy. Its comedy is similar to Bowling King and Mr. Fullswing, but I actually like Mr. Fullswing.
Because the story is so good, and the characters are so well developed, the art becomes a trivial thing. But my problem is, T_T, the ending is super super sad. It is one of the saddest ending that I've ever read. Until now, I still can't believe that such a hilarious manga has such an awful ending T_T

I was just in the first page when I started to think about deleting whatever I have of it here. For me, a person who's picky about art, I had a really hard time getting through the first chapter. I might have liked the story, but it was so old-school that I can't stand it. I guess I'm just not used to it. I didn't push myself on reading it.
I didn't give this a rating because I didn't get a chance to get the story, so if I rate it, I might become biased against it because of the art. I only rate stuff when I get their story.
For those who want to read this, you'd better appreciate old-style manga art. If you get used to it, then have fun.
