They don't really go into what makes her a painting, and there aren't any other magical elements. It's like a way to make it not quite human slavery so more palatable to a broader audience not really well explained. I couldn't get into it because of the weird stretchy art and slowness of the story line.

I liked the art! It was actually the thing that drew me in. Although the plot moves slowly, it was a pleasant read. I wish the manhwa author would've spent more panels on why she was "a living painting". She barely showed the "painting"

The story is interesting enough .... I guess but the way it was done ... It was boring and I'm honestly shocked I was able to finish this.
I don't mind typical or obvious plots but it has to be done well if you've seen it before. Unfortunately it wasn't done well enough. :/
Oh, and the ending. Geez that was a let down. I was hoping for a bit more ... since it was a mature manga. Nope, let down there too.

I like how dark is started off. Not sure what to think about the rest of the story. Artwork was amazing.

started off dark with the girl getting sold to that guy. And even though their relationship progress too quickly to being kinda close. But the emotional parts just didn't click somehow I find. Then the dramatic dark parts I felt were all over the place. Wish the ending was a bit more dramatic then that.

It emphasize the typical lifestyle of some aristocrats of the old days.
It's not really new for me reading a noble man with vices and seek pleasure towards women, money devours everything and this manga emphasized how tragic and wicked the society as it seems.
Nevertheless, it's a good read.

It kinda reminded me of Titanic at the end of this manga. Also the "end end" (the last few pages)
They really didn't have a detailed ending. I was really confused. But I liked this manga a lot.

I will start of by saying, for me the hardest part of reading this was the artwork. Not a big fan of the style but it definitely works with the plot. Set in an old age makes it very fitting of the title (antique).
The story itself was a simple yet beautiful story about learning to love and overcome past hardships.

Just don't expect historical accuracies; it is insane how historically inaccurate this manga is. But still, I liked it. It was fun, the main male character was very likeable and sympathetic. He wasn't some brash "I'm hot, rich and I'm going to bone you!" kinda guy, but quiet and clever.
I just wish the ending hadn't been so rushed. That's why I gave this a 7 not an 8.
