A blooming love story begins between Sumire and Touta, two neighbors who have been together since childhood.
2 Volumes (Complete)

The one shot is about two childhood friends, the girl has no interest in boys to the point that she might be asexual and the boy is a total casanova. The one shot is decent but has questionable choices that I don't think readers will support...
The series, though, is your typical first love/little experience in a relationship story. However, the characters hit the usual problems but never really learn nor grow and it just gets repetitive, it also doesn't help that the characters get some really bad advice that younger readers might take to heart. Especially when the inevitable sex storyline rears it's ugly head. I will say that Ao's artwork has vastly improved since her B.O.D.Y. days. Honestly, read at your own risk.
Honestly, I think this manga tackles a lot of realistic problems head on. I do agree that the beginning was a little chaotic with the two suddenly falling in love. However, once you get past that, this manga shows two childhood friends struggling to get used to being lovers in a relationship as opposed to the friendly limits they were at before. I feel that this mangaka portrayed real struggles of what a girl in Sumire's position would be thinking really well. Of course they both feel insecure and jealous and have many initial problems because they are both just figuring out what it means to love one another. However, I really didn't like the fact that both parties realized they were in their own ways wrong but it was always Sumire apologizing to Touta in the end. By the end of it, my impression of Touta was meh.
Which leads me to make this comment directed towards @Rozzak's review. I think it's incredibly shallow of you to say that. She is inexperienced whereas Touta is experienced and keeps pushing her to do it despite the fact she is not ready. From a girl's perspective - he just seems loose and as if all he wants is sex. If he truly loves her, he can learn to be patient. The conversation he had with his friends in chapter 7.5 nailed my exact thoughts.
In the extra chapter she's so fucking cruel regarding sex. I'm shocked he didn't become impotent. I'd dump a girl who acted like that on the spot. She completely destroyed any semblance of security or confidence he may have had.
I agree with previous reviewer, I was expecting a nice slow build up to the romance, their wasn't even much of them as just friends they jumped right on in into the lover roles which made it difficult to see their roots. The lead female starts off interesting but then becomes a little more average with each chapter, the guy is largely forgettable. The art is standard nothing ground breaking there. I don't really know why this oneshot was extended to an actual series as it's very average.
firstly : they started off in a rush and unrealistic way !! I couldn't feel the love at all
I know that's common in most shoujo mangas but still.. :\
the guy suddenly kissed his childhood friend as a JOKE then immediately after that he was trying to hook her up with some other guy and during that he suddenly got jealous and suddenly said that he's in love with her and he doesn't want her to date another guy then he break up with his GF yep he did all that while he already had a girlfriend -_-
and you know what .. this aaaaaaaaall happened in the first 10 pages of the first chapter which was a one shot
so let me talk little about the following 2 vol ..
there wasn't any real problems between the two it's just people meddling in and talk to the guy about his relationship with his gf (the ex childhood friend) then he take their words seriously and over thinking stupidly and this goes on over and over and over
anyway it's not that bad but not that good I don't know how to say it ... it feels like the mangka was forcing problems on them for the sake of releasing her book with no good ideas in her head
I was excited about this so I have been waiting till they complete the scanlating
maybe I was expecting too much that's why I'm disappointed 🙁
anyway you won't miss that much
