Bro this manga is good and not good

I heard this was similar to the manga are

Chapter 14-15 incel
Chapter 46, it feels that bit with manny was uncessary, like it was only there for conflicts
Chapter 56 was nice
63,64,65 were nice
82 was conflict that only rxists for plot , idk what the specific word is,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
wtf, so ur telling me that the mom did that to him, the dad was just a killer and loved his son, bullshit, from the manwha the way the dad interacts with his son hardly qualifies as tough love

Long story short, this manwha is better than most manwha you would find, but it not that great, their are cliches and the beats in the story are predictable. Overall, this manwha was ok

dumbass MC

Don't read this if you don't like stories that only work because the MC conveniently does the most boneheaded shit for no reason. Jin is by far the most retarded ass MC I've ever seen in a story and every decision he makes is frustrating because even a baby could do a better job than him. This is worse than your average shitty horror movie.

This was a real page-turner. Lots of suspense and kept me guessing as to what would happen next. Definitely a must-read. The only thing I wish I had was a bit more of it or maybe if I could scrub my mind and read it again.

I’m not over Manny’s death though. It was cruel showing it 3 times in a row. My heart couldn’t take it.

Phew that was a tough ride. I think this story sucked what was left of my soul and left me completely dry.

This webtoon certainly lives up to its expectations. The characters' facial expressions are drawn exceptionally well: terror, happiness, sorrow, demonic smiles, etc. They're all so well done I literally had to put this webtoon down a few times because it was too intense.

I especially loved Jin's character development throughout this series. Starts off as a wimp then finally being able to fight his biggest fears, that was pretty cool to see. Kyun, on the other hand... She's got guts, I'll give her that, but sometimes she does things that made me facepalm so hard I just😔🤚

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Like that time Jin tells her his creepy ass Dad likes her (ch 66). Instead of avoiding the Dad, sis goes straight into the lion's den. By herself. Voluntarily. I wonder what went through her mind? "Yea lemme just go to his place real quick to have a chat. Nope I'm not at all scared of being alone in the same locked room with a pedo who's much stronger than me and apparently likes me so much he literally paid his own damn son to find me and lure me in before."

Fear? What fear? Such a thing does not exist in her vocabulary. If she really wanted to thank him for paying off her debt (or for whatever reason, really), she could've just called, but nah.

Overall, this was a really good story. Can't say too much because I don't wanna spoil anything, but go ahead and read this if you're into psychological horror stories. This won't disappoint.

P.S. I suggest you prepare some cute puppies/kittens pictures before reading this. Just in case you need to cleanse your eyes and soul later, like I did.

It's been awhile since I have felt this satisfied from reading a manga/webtoon. This past weekend I had the pleasure of binging both Bastard and Meloholic and have got to say Carnby Kim's style of storytelling is remarkable, most notably the character development, pacing, and conclusions. A genuine roller coaster of emotions that knows exactly where to tug on your heart strings or push you to the edge of your seat. Not too long and not too short. As a person who loves the unraveling of a story and despises endings, I would have to say the ending to Bastard made the entire story. Absolutely amazing.

To be honest, this is one of the best webtoon that i've ever read. The story is great, the antagonist is REALLY good, character development is a plus.

There are some minor weak point of the webtoon, which are mostly in logical thinking.

Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The main character can just record the antagonist's line to have evidence to call the police, many times, but he didn't even try. I do understand why he can't call the police, but he should just keep the evidence to use whenever he wants. Anyway, it's not really a problem since he is obsessed with his father, he wouldn't even think about calling the police so collecting evidence is not really a thing crossed in his mind.

The father is a great antagonist, it's been a long time to see such good antagonist.

Much has been said about this manhwa already. After Melo Holic, Carnby has produced another fantastic work. The only things I want to highlight are:
1) The character development of the main cast. There aren't many characters, but every single one of them develops meaningfully.
2) The ending is genuinely surprising, given the overall theme of the manhwa. There are several remarkable revelations that put the entire preceding story into a new light. And the conclusion is completely satisfying.

IIRC I had a few minor complaints about the story, but I mostly recall feeling glad I read it.

REALLY GOOD manhwa
by LUEser

There's something about the UGLINESS of the artwork that makes this manhwa such a GOOD read. The artist isn't afraid to make characters ugly and sinister to make them appear evil or ghastly (as that is the point to a creepy psychological story). The story tends to drag a bit here and there, especially in the final arc but worth the wait to read towards the next scene of events. The plot doesn't have awkward transition and surprisingly, the flashbacks make a lot of sense due to its relevancy of the present situation. Color palette of the artwork is limited but effective and speaks well to the mood that the artist/author is trying to portray and tell.

The ending is unexpected, and at first a little disappointing, but when you think about the overall traumatic and psychologically damaging effect it has on the MC, it's actually not too bad after all.
