Phew that was a tough ride. I think this story sucked what was left of my soul and left me completely dry.
This webtoon certainly lives up to its expectations. The characters' facial expressions are drawn exceptionally well: terror, happiness, sorrow, demonic smiles, etc. They're all so well done I literally had to put this webtoon down a few times because it was too intense.
I especially loved Jin's character development throughout this series. Starts off as a wimp then finally being able to fight his biggest fears, that was pretty cool to see. Kyun, on the other hand... She's got guts, I'll give her that, but sometimes she does things that made me facepalm so hard I just😔🤚
Like that time Jin tells her his creepy ass Dad likes her (ch 66). Instead of avoiding the Dad, sis goes straight into the lion's den. By herself. Voluntarily. I wonder what went through her mind? "Yea lemme just go to his place real quick to have a chat. Nope I'm not at all scared of being alone in the same locked room with a pedo who's much stronger than me and apparently likes me so much he literally paid his own damn son to find me and lure me in before."
Fear? What fear? Such a thing does not exist in her vocabulary. If she really wanted to thank him for paying off her debt (or for whatever reason, really), she could've just called, but nah.
Overall, this was a really good story. Can't say too much because I don't wanna spoil anything, but go ahead and read this if you're into psychological horror stories. This won't disappoint.
P.S. I suggest you prepare some cute puppies/kittens pictures before reading this. Just in case you need to cleanse your eyes and soul later, like I did.
