Yataro Sarumaru, nicknamed Saru, is an ace in the locksmith trade and is obsessed with girls. This (almost) average teenager is given a hardly ordinary mission which marks the beginning of his adventures!
22 Volumes (Complete)

I agree with some of the reviewers below me. The series is essentially a dumb "edgy" Shonen, with pointless rape and murder, that happened to be published in a men´s magazine. Consequences, realism or long-term storytelling are all missing in action. Don´t get me started on the love story that never goes anywhere or the inconclusive ending, as I flipped through the last volume before giving up. I was quickly left disappointed and don´t understand why I tried in the first place. The author failed to do anything worthwhile with the pilot volume and the very first story uses rape for fan service but I will admit that the art is pretty solid. The author´s Resident Evil manga are equally a mess for similar reasons. He should stick to his art and hire an actual author.
Because it's labeled as Seinen here on MU. It might be a cool Shounen manga but people were expecting Seinen. When i read a Seinen i don't think i'm going to be reading a Naruto-like story where assassins, soldiers and spies don't kill people. When i read about Yakuza, Mafia and gangs in a Seinen i expect more.
If I'm correct this is a shounen manga, not seinen...
Anyway, it is more or less on par with GTO or Kamen Teacher. No progress, that is pretty out of nowhere. The development here is far from being top priority. This manga is really light and relaxing. With no hard feelings. Pure entertainment. And you should remember that this is a monthly manga. It should not be read as 22 volumes at once.
I really liked it. comparing it with Naruto would be a waste. Most of shounen is that way. What's the problem?
I've read it alll. And this manga doesn't have a feeling of one story.
First, there is "Cherry Boys" story. Saru and his school friends are main characters. Weak plot. Typical school ecchi comedy with a bit of romance. Even though it's ecchi, you won't see more than 3-4 ecchi panels per volume. Inconclusive ending. Well, from volume 1 to volume 22, there is almost no progress in this story. 4/10
Secondly, "Heaven's Crow". This is a story about Saitou, Saru has secondary role here. I was expecting bloody yakudza action out of this. But instead it was like Naruto with seinen characters.
1 death, almost no guns and goody-goody main lead... Is this really seinen? 5/10
Anyway, first Yukki ark (vol 1) is the best ecchi story, Scouts ark (vol 3-4) is the best Heaven's Crow story. Everything else is boring.
This is a gem. Even if I try to say something, I will only be repeating what everyone below me said: Totally Awesome. The violence, the sex... everything just fits right in. Whats more, its damn funny.
Holy Shit this is one hell of a funny manga-I laughed my ass of in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER so far(and thats 31scanlated chapters so far which is shame, because there's 21 RAW VOLUMES SO FAR!!!!)
Main char is a locksmith named Saru,a brilliant at his work and useless in his love life. With his fatty friend(btw sex obsessed freak) they solve cases of stolen sex tapes of idols, class mates losing virginity and so on...
Artwork is also great
Can't wait for more chapters to be scanlated of this jewel
i picked this up on whim and was like holly shit, this is f@$kin awesome. Some parts can be rly graphic (epically the first 2 arcs) but the light moments r rly funny, so it has a great balance to it. I 100% recommend this
I've read up all the way to volume 17, waiting on my 18&19 >.<, but so far everything has been awesome, the story gets more and more interesting each volume and i cant stop rereading old chapters because they're just so funny! 🙂
EDIT: Just bought volume 20 and I gatta say its still keeping me interested.
