First time making a request. Basically, I want something similar to Hanzasky because I can't wait for the scanlators to catch up.
Requirements:
- martial arts action (the more realistic, the better)
- non fantasy setting (i.e. no magic powers, super saiyan, etc.)
- *must* have romance around main character (not just some mere subplot)
- male protagonist
Preferred, but not required:
- protagonist starts weak and grows strong
- good artwork
- hand-to-hand combat (no weapons)
Thanks in advance.

the breaker is pretty decent, and the martial arts from the protag are more realistic in new waves. They do that chi/ki or w/e u choose to call it, and used with proper techs they can do near superhuman movements, most are just quite a bit stronger than humans, but there are quite a few freaks of nature in the story.... but they aren't invincible, or shooting energy rays, and they are still able to die by stuff like bullets or being hit when not prepared, so it may work out, only thing is the romance plot is pretty strong in the beginning but it begins to fade around the protag mid way.... the teachers romance ends up getting stronger as the protags weakens... unfortunately this is the best I can offer as the only other one I can think of is a seconding of kenichi, even tho they are pretty overpowered too x.x
And angel densetsu now that I think about... pure humans but one who has amazing natural talent in reflexive movements... its really funny and although most of the chars just brawl a few chicks and a dude or two, and the fathers fight properly.... must read(romance is slow, but it fits the characters involved and is pretty sweet)... try not to throw it away based on art.... cuz it takes some getting used to cuz its drawn by the person who did claymore x.x....
Oh and both fit ur stronger thing, breaker has it in extremes... densetsu is more of a steady increase of power but then again, hanza was never weak to begin with either so I think you'll find it acceptable.

Thanks for your suggestions.
@kainord: I'll check out B.Reaction, although being rushed/axed seems a bit of a turn off. Only 2 volumes. For some reason, I never looked at Kenichi because I thought it was just mainstream battle manga, but I'll look at it someday. So many volumes means a lot to catch up on. And I've read Full Contact already.
@raitoryuulk: Artwork seems a bit too old school for me. Thanks though.
@tsuto: I read the first few chapters of Buyuden, but it seemed boring. Does it get better?
@SAimNE: Thanks for the suggestions. I stayed away from breaker because it didn't seem like it had much romance. I'll check it out when I have time. And I stayed away from densetsu because I couldn't stand the look of the protagonist--just couldn't identify with him. I know a lot of people said it's good, but I dunno... Maybe I'll cave and read it eventually.

So I finished reading [m]B.Reaction[/m] and started Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi.
I have to say that I enjoyed B.Reaction and was sad it got axed. It felt like a mix of Hanza and Unbalance.
Kenichi is a bit too gaggish sometimes and there's so little romance (I cheated and wiki'd ahead to find out that they *still* aren't together after 400+ chapters), but I'll keep reading it.
Any other suggestions? Lately, I seem to be interested in Muay Thai... (go Tony Jaa)
