NOT tsunderes.
NOT shoujo cliches and especially NOT a cliched with short hair and sparkly eyes. Yes, I love long hair lol. Anywhere between a bit longer to ground length XD~ On anything human or not.

He can be a bit cold, I don't mind that, I just mean that none of those tsundere guys who pick on girls just to hide their love, and that goes way too extreme and yet the girls fall head over heels. I mean, you macho?
A calm, or otherwise indifferent protagonist, one that can analyze situations.
Probably a type that does more background work and behind the scenes, basically doing their best without bragging for their important ppl or anything else.
I don't mind self sacrifice, rather... it makes me cry more than others since I suppose that's just my type? But no meaningless self sacrifice, like they can't wait to die. I mean, I'm looking for a smart and cool headed guy, so they MUST know that if they can make more use of their existence alive than dead, they should do that. However, if there's no other options, I don't mind if they plunge themselves into fire.
I don't mind if they get a bit emotional, nor do I mind if they are one of the "me most important in the world". I just want them to be able to put a lil effort behind the scenes for their girl in emergencies.

ANYWAYS~~ Romance preferred! As that seems to be what the descriptions are leading to. But not required! Oh and, it doesn't need to fit EVERYTHING above, just you know, give and take.

  • No hardcore yaoi!~ Regular BL is fine. (But not preferred in this case)
  • No manhwa! Uh-uh. None at all.

I will take:
*manga
*anime
*manhua
*chinese novels
*jdramas (not preferred though...)

the first thing that comes to my mind is Hibi Chouchou. there is a girl who is the prettiest in this planet, but this guy doesn't seem to be interested at all.

if you haven't read it yet I suggest Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji. the guy has an ice heart, and really doesn't care about anybody but himself.

do you mind manhwa? this guy can be very cruel and cold. The Bride of the Water God

I haven't read it personally but I think it will suit your request Hana to Akuma

hope this suit your taste. 🙂

From Eroica With Love - the male lead is glamorous, extravagant, cultured, somewhat arrogant, just exudes awesomeness. He loves all things that are beautiful (including gorgeous men who are as beautiful as he is) and will stop at nothing in order to obtain them. His hair go past his shoulder. He is the most interesting man in the world.

Will try Hibi Chouchou I guess, from description can't tell whether it fits or not.

Excuse me? Yes, I do mind. lol. But anyways, that's actually the first manga or more like manhwa I read. No longer read it, and I have no clue if it fits all that much.

For examples, I suppose Saimaden and Dengeki Daisy should fit.

Dengeki Daisy

He's a behind the scene kinda guy, but he does pick on Teru to hide his affection. Normally I hate that kind of thing but here I actually don't mind because he can still tell that he cares for her rather than immature elementary school kid bullying.

Hyouka (as in the anime series, unless you want to read the novel) He is the epitome of an indifferent but intelligent protagonist. Romance is pretty light so far though if that's what you're looking for... But I love his apathy

🤣 I've been going to read this forever, and you've convinced me to start now.

Jiraishin
The warning is that the main character is TRULY indifferent. He tends to be too cold for some people, but since you are looking for someone cold I don't think you will have a problem.

And even tough there not enough to get a romance tag, there is some romance in there. I really recommend it.

Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, a shoujo manga but can be like a shonen too. Really refreshing manga with great plot and characters, i think.
