Some of mine:

You're not drunk if you can lie on the floor without holding on.
The best part of believe is the lie.
Like a photograph, love develops in darkness.
Never write the names of the ones you love in a heart; write them in a circle. Hearts can break, circles go on forever. =]
Cracks in the concrete are just reminders that you fall apart no matter how strong you are.
I like walking in the rain cause no-one knows i'm crying.

lol i think thats all for now;), i'll write out some more when i think of them laugh

'His wit invites you by his looks to come, but when you knock, it never is at home' - Coleridge

And lots more. Can't remember them now, though. I have them written up in a notebook at home, so when I'll go back I'll probably post them here.

@Xeronia - love the quote!

"Life is like a game of chess, in which there are an infinite number of complex moves possible. The choice is open, but the move contains within itself all future moves. One is free to choose, but what follows is the result of one's choice. From the consequences of one's action there is never any escape." ~Shelly Smith

"Think as I think," said a man,
"or you are abominably wicked;
You are a toad."

And after I had thought of it,
I said, "I will, then, be a toad."
~Stephen Crane

ah that bring back memories...I totally forgot Kurt Cobain..

"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not."

"A friend is nothing but a known enemy."

"Don't expect me to cry for all the reasons you had to die. "

"If you die you're completely happy and your soul somewhere lives on. I'm not afraid of dying. Total peace after death, becoming someone else is the best hope I've got."

"Rather be dead than cool."

"I had a really good childhood up until I was nine, then a classic case of divorce really affected me."

Kurt Cobain ROCKS! I was kid, huge fan of Nirvana >_<

"Ordinary morals are only for ordinary people" - Aleister Crowley
I really like how it only stops being arrogant if you read deeper into it. Then again, it probably was meant to be arrogant knowing the source.

I like the rough translation of the poem in my signature as well (it's one of the chapter openings for the Higurashi game, I think Tatarigoroshi-hen.)

Most of these I have written down, a lot from memory, a lot from the COD series, others I had to look up to remember the details (3-4 I found while doing that).

"War is delightful to those who have not yet experienced it."
-Erasmus

"When the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is not our friend."
-U.S. Army Training Notice

"In war, you win or lose, live or die-and the difference is just an eyelash."-
- General Douglas MacArthur

"Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered
automatic weapons."
-General Douglas MacArthur

"Older men declare war. But it is the youth that must fight and die."
-Herbert Hoover

"If your attack is going too well, you're walking into an ambush."
- Infantry Journal

"The tragedy of war is that it uses man's best to do man's worst."
-Henry Fosdick

"It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!"
- Emiliano Zapata

"Give me the money that has been spent in war and I will clothe every man, woman, and child in an attire of which kings and queens will be proud. I will build a schoolhouse in every valley over the whole earth. I will crown every hillside with a place of worship consecrated to peace."
-Charles Sumner

"There's no honorable way to kill, no gentle way to destroy. There is nothing
good in war. Except its ending."
- Abraham Lincoln

"Only the dead have seen the end of war."
-Plato

“A prisoner of war is a man who tries to kill you and fails, and then asks you not to kill him.”
-Winston Churchill

"In war, truth is the first casualty."
-Aeschylus

"The truth of the matter is that you always know the right thing to do. The
hard part is doing it."
-Norman Schwarzkopf

"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his."
- General George S. Patton

"All they that take the sword, shall perish with the sword."
The Bible - Matthew

"All war represents a failure of diplomacy."
Tony Benn

"War would end if the dead could return."
-Stanley Baldwin

"Nothing in life is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result."
- Winston Churchill

"Courage is fear holding on a minute longer."
- General George S. Patton

"You cant say civilization don't advance - for in every war, they kill you in a new way."
-Will Rogers

"If a man has done his best, what else is there?" -General George S. Patton

"The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of millions is a statistic."
- Joseph Stalin

"There are only two kinds of people that understand Marines: Marines and the
enemy. Everyone else has a second-hand opinion."
-General William Thornson

"All wars are civil wars, because all men are brothers."
-Francois Fenelon

“Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
-Hermann Goering

"Cluster bombing from B-52s are very, very, accurate. The bombs are guaranteed
to always hit the ground." -USAF Ammo Troop

"It is generally inadvisable to eject directly over the area you just bombed." -U.S. Air Force Marshal

visit violence on those who would harm us." -George Orwell

“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
-Albert Einstein

"War is a series of catastrophes which result in victory."
- Georges Clemenceau

"Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we
fail."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson

"When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."
- Franklin D. Roosevelt

"Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character,
give him power." -Abraham Lincoln

"Courage is being scared to death - but saddling up anyway."
- John Wayne

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God
that such men lived."
- General George S. Patton

"In the Soviet army it takes more courage to retreat than advance."
- Joseph Stalin

"If this is all a dream, don't wake me up."

"No one lives in the slums because they want to. It's like this train. It can't go anywhere except where its rails take it."

"Words aren't the only way to tell someone how you feel."

"A memory is something that is consciously recalled, right? That's why sometimes, it can be mistaken or wrong. It's different from a memory locked deep within your heart."

"I don't want to regret not having done something later."

"Too much hope is the opposite of despair... An overpowering love may consume you in the end."

"What I have shown you is reality. What you remember, that is the illusion."

"These days, all it takes for your dreams to come true is money and power."

"People are ignorant. They'll feel better as long as someone is punished."

"A pro isn't someone who sacrifices himself for his job. That's just a fool."

"What to do? Have you lost your way? When that happens we each have to take a good long look at our selves. There's always something in the deepest reaches of our hearts. Something buried, or something forgotten. Remember it... Whatever that is, must certainly be what you are all looking for..."

"When you've been a train man as long as I have, you see a lot of people and a lot of lives. People meeting, parting, joy, sadness... After a while, it doesn't even get to you anymore. I wonder how long it's been... There's an invisible rail between me and the passengers. I could never live their lives. I'm just a train man, plain and simple. It's easier that way. That's not to say that the crossing gate of my heart doesn't hurt now and again. Back during the war, I remember there were a lot of painful scenes then. But, that's a story for another day."

"Strength without determination means nothing... determination without strength is equally useless."

"Everything must come to an end. And someday it's gonna be your turn. Even the world's gotta end sometime. Everybody leaves at one time or another. And everyone gets left also. That's just fate... It's sad, but there's nothing that can be done about it."
