Hi, I'm looking for any series with (as the title suggests) Kitsune and Ningyo. So fox spirits and mermaids, wait, no, make that mermen. Well, so far I've read Junketsu Ningyo, and I've read Mister Mermaid, and I remember reading a one-shot by [a]Hoshina Lily[/a]. There's also this sorta hilarious one known as Wild Fish.

I've actually come across quite a few Kitsune stories, but for the life of it, I can't remember most of it. I know I've read Ayashi Kimi no Koi Wazurai. There's this rather short one about Cat-shifters, can't quite remember if they're Kitsune, who infiltrated the market to save their kind, ended up being eaten out by wolves... There's this other one where a boy accidentally interrupted a Kitsune marriage ceremony, and got himself married to the groom. There's something about him being Abe no Seimei's descendant. And the boy and his Kitsune groom then set out on a quest to dissolve their marriage.

Well, yes. I can't remember the title for those two. And I've been googling for an hour, but I'm coming up with nada... So, ummm, if anyone knows the titles of those two manga, I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me. And I'd be really grateful if you could recommend anything new? >w<

I think the one "where a boy accidentally interrupted a Kitsune marriage ceremony, and got himself married to the groom." is Kitsune no Tama Yobai
I think i have read one of the others as well. I will post later if i remember or find more.

Edit:

I haven't read it and i am not sure if you have but Oinarisama no Honey Bunny has a fox spirit in it.

Uhmm I don't think it's that one. The uke was rather destitute, and then he ate something that got him married. He also had some kind of power over words, if I remembered it right...

Edit: Oh, I haven't tried that one yet, I think, thanks for the tipsmile

This one might be Kakemakumo, Kashikoki by Takarai Rihito.

As for other stories involving fox spirits, Mizukami Shin has written a few:
"The Fox's Wedding" from Ijimetaihodo Aishiteru,
"You in My Jewelled Mirror" from Zense to Gense to Kimi to Ore, and
"Fox of the Matter" (which is related to the main story) from Kudan no Kuroneko.

You can also try searching by genre and, then, specifying a category/tag to populate a list like this one, perhaps!

Yes, yes, yes, that's the one! Thanks!

Ahhh... I didn't know there was a tag for Kitsune, that's really useful! Thanks!
