[Removed question about advanced search because it derailed the topic completely].

Examples that have all of the below: Noblesse, Hunter x Hunter, Yu-Yu Hakusho, GetBackers, Gensoumaden Saiyuki.

*Bromance = Not actually BL, just really suggestive.

*No romance, especially not boy-girl. It's okay if it's one-sided & all love is unrequited.

*Preferably no ecchi. but not mandatory.

*Comedy = I'd prefer a series that takes itself seriously but has funny moments or a comic relief character.

*Fighting (good example) = One on one, team vs team, weapons & magic, blood & more blood.
*Fighting (bad example) = Chunky mecha suits or bio-armor, throwing heavy things but not actually fighting (Tiger & Bunny disappointed me).

*Prettyboys = The more feminine they look, the better. Bonus points for long hair & glasses.

*Favorite types of characters: The creepy adult-minded child, tsunderes & yanderes, the undefeatable morally ambiguous sadist who lives to die in battle, & the bitchy scary dangerous chick who wears pants & is good at combat.

*More than 1 main protagonist, ie ambiguous protagonist, best friends, or group of 4.

One just off the top of my head that I really enjoy is Adekan bigrazz

But there's already an 'Advanced Search by Genre' when you click 'Genres' which can include tags in it's search.

Search for: Action, Comedy
Filter out: Ecchi, Romance, Doujinshi genre=Action_Comedy&exclude_genre=Doujinshi_Ecchi_R omance&filter=some_releases&perpage=50

There's an advanced search function. You just have to look.

Enter the tags or keywords you are looking for.

For future reference click Genres on the right column...then click the link Advance search by genre

Thanks, I wonder why I couldn't find it before bigrazz

But I'll still take suggestions; advanced search doesn't work on moe. lol.

Hmm, a shame Adekan seems to have been left incomplete & dropped by scanlators. If I had a buck for every time that happened to me >_>....

The reason why you couldn't search 'moe' is probably because that category tag doesn't exist.
You can explore existing tags by clicking 'Categories' or 'See the tag dictionary.' But you should keep in mind that tags only show series people added them to so it's likely there are a lot more matching series out there. wink

Advanced search is telling me that what I'm looking for doesn't exist, even though many of the listings for the examples I used have the right tags. I'm probably going overboard with including tags & excluding genres.

I'm just going to rely on the suggestions of others, save this page, & see what accumulates over the course of a week.

mabye cromartie high, its about an all boys school, everyone is delinquents except the MC who transferred there only because one of his friends was going there (but his friend failed entrance exam anyway). anyway there is bromance kinda(just bunch of boys hanging out) this is really funny manga and even the anime too. there are some fights (well alot) and usually they are settled within a few panels. this manga does not take itself seriously but probably one of the funniest ones out. there is really not 1 MC since there are alot of main characters and it shows alot of their stories too.

or for shojo try Ore monogatari!!, theres bromance but also romance too, its really funny tho so give it a shot.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn! for sure. Tons of pretty boys, lots of fighting, comedy in the beginning, though (thankfully) it gets more serious later on.

Gintama - Again, tons of great-looking guys. Mostly gag comedy, but has some deadly serious arcs. Take a look at the female-directed fanservice ending credits starting episode 76 and you will be sold.

Weiss Kreuz - Very pretty boys, flower shop assistants by day, assassins by night. I'm not kidding. There's a matching set of four villains who also have their following with the fangirls. There is some romance, but they are after all lone wolf assassins unlikely to form stable relationships, so...

Trinity Blood has a number of pretty men, though not so much bromance.

Clover (TETSUHIRO Hirakawa)

The guys aren't drawn feminine but a lot are handsome. The first volume isn't good though, it's boring and non of the handsome guys aren't in it(I'm only saying it isn't good cause its boring). After that it's a good manga with some nice friendships.
