MC Leaves

I'm looking for a manga in which one of the main characters leaves at the ending. Course, this could be undo within the next chapter, but it has to be like five years later (a timeskip). I rather have the characters confess at this point (so they are not together before this happens). Oh, and I really like when the female leaves, rather than the male; but either one of them is fine. I'm not really looking for a long story right now (just a quick read), but it's fine if the story long (I will get to it later on); and it's not slow paced (again, looking for a quick read).
I've already read Ane Doki Beauty Pop Hana to Akuma Venus Capriccio Wasure Yuki (AMANO Shinobu) Clannad
PS. also I'm looking for some about death.

I'm not going to recommend anything out of principal and am just posting to say that if it's your fault (people like you who appreciate such things) mangakas come up with those kind of endings... I hate you.
Have a nice day. 😛

Persona 4 (The anime, 'cause the manga's not finished yet).

@jedinat, yeah, I hate myself too 😛
@FormX I heard of that, but others say it was bad. I will read it when I can.
@-shiratori- I've already read the manga, and I can't really watch anime at the moment (videos ain't working on this).
@xmariah201 seems bloody, I'll get to it soon (the manga though, can't watch videos).
Thanks everyone!

Since this entire thread is about endings, I'll just go ahead and assume I don't have to do spoiler tags.
The only manga I can think of off the top of my head is Kobato. (though I disliked that ending for reasons other than her leaving). Actually, this seems to be a popular trope for Clamp (or, at least, in the instances they actually finish their series). Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle has this happening too, but I have many Issues with that one and I definitely would not recommend it. Card Captor Sakura also does the same thing. And, depending on whether you see the relationship as romantic or not, xxxHoLic could also count.
Oh, right, and Luno has this too, but it isn't a romance. (Ditto for Momonchi.)
