The Good:
The art of course is wonderful as to expect of any Clamp manga. The story twisted and turned still Clamp's signiture as well. I felt this manga held my intrest at first it was bright(not to over the top happy fluffy) to dark and acidy the mood matching the atmosphere. I felt that the characters background where layouted out perfectly so that you understood where each character came from.

The Bad:
As with any Clamp hard to understand and follow at some points. I felt that the ending was rushed and could have been longer or better plotted out compared to how well the rest was thought out.

Overall:
This manga has plenty of action of action lovers. A good bit of romance. I would recommend to any regulars in manga as an intresting manga worth time.

CLAMP's masterpiece by Sou1Reaver on October 9th, 2009, 2:50pm

Without a doubt in my opinion this is CLAMP's greatest work, though xxxHOLiC is yet to end. Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is simply amazing, especially when it gets darker from the Acid Tokyo arc onwards. I like it before that too but afterwards it it gets simply amazing. The revelations and twists in the plot are totally unexpected and everything turns out in a both rediculous and ordered way. The complex relationships and the character development are extraordinary. I won't spoil anything from the contents though I'm sure pretty much everyone that reads this comment already has read the manga too.
You should have some background reading other CLAMP manga or waching animes based on clamp manga to get more of the story. Especially "Card Captor Sakura" and "X"

Too wierd and confusing. by drunkguy on October 5th, 2009, 10:19pm

Early on, this was a relatively fun/light read. Then it became very dark and confusing. Pretty much all the humor from the early chapters was gone past the first half of the series; replaced by buckets of blood and fire. By three quarters, I was pretty much lost. By the end they threw one wierd twist after another so fast I just wanted it to finish already. The funny thing is while this went down hill, XXXholic actually got better and better. Still confusing but not nearly as chaotic as Tsubasa Chronicles. Honestly, if I had to read Tsubasa Chronicles as a stand alone, I'd have quit half way through.

It ended... by ForbiddenAngel on September 30th, 2009, 4:01pm

...Loved it. The ending confused me because I had to wait for the chapters to come out, but I'm sure it'll make sense if I read it all in a bunch instead of one chapter a week. AWESOME series. Loved all the plot twists (:

one of the most confusing mangas i think by Makaveli on September 30th, 2009, 12:22pm

this is one of the most confusing mangas ever imo...it started off good, i liked it in the beginning but after i read up to 160 or somethin it confused the heck outta me. plus i think u hav to read other CLAMP mangas cuz they are connected to this to fully understand wat is happening and why its happening and also to understand the chacarters themselves. i stopped readin it after like 160 chapters, i might read it now cuz its finished jus to complete it and add to my complete list....but idk...very confusing

Its too confused to me. by jackblack901 on September 16th, 2009, 9:22pm

As 1 of the latest series of the famous CLAMP there is no doubt about its quality. characters, drawing, story it's all great. But the plot is really really confused, it started alright and simple but later it become extremely complicated. Now after 200+ chapter I'm totally lost.
Considered its length, I dont think it's a worth read except ppl love fantasy story.

Confusing :S by KnightMan on September 14th, 2009, 1:54am

Man, this has to be the most confusing manga that I've ever picked up. The plot really twisted around. Sometimes when i read it I was like "What?", I read it again and then I was more like "Huh?" and finally i read it once more and I was either "Oh so that's it!" or I just kept on reading and didn't bother to try anymore.

Saw the anime - fell asleep by lydiaann on September 12th, 2009, 4:05pm

OK. So I never read the manga. But I saw the anime. And it was oh-so-dull. What is the FUSS??

Don't you shoot me down or anything, since everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. And....I literally fell asleep many many times on my bed (watch it in my room).

Girl loses memory, discarded everywhere in the universe. She's always such a weakling, and the boy/dude who loves her and tries to help her is always so stoic. They just hop from one universe to another universe, solve some kinda mysteries here and there, and recover the feathers.

Rinse, Spin Dry and REPEAT CYCLE......wait...lemme add...over......and over.......and over again. Episode...by episode.. by episode.

Oh God. It's so so so so so boring!!!! When does it ENDconfused Until you collect 1000000000000 feathers? I don't see ANY character development.

Can I put a rating "0"??

Hmm... by simcant on August 31st, 2009, 8:34pm

Well, this story wouldn't bug me...if the characters weren't well...who they were.

I think that, by this point we've all figured out that The Syaoran and Sakura that they're talking about are the same Syaoran and Sakura form Cardacaptor Sakura, For alot of us CCS is a loved childhood series, so we're trying to keep the images of the innocent and sugarcoated storyline, of CCS, when reading this manga. But then we realize...wait a minute, these versions of Syaoran, and Sakura, are in an alternate universe. And we suddenly realize that the world is not falling apart and it's all going to be okay. Maybe.

I guess the majority of us are a bit bothered by seeing the characters doing things they wouldn't in CCS.
